Mike Newbury Park,  CA Not very durable These shorts are very lightly padded. Does not offer much in protection for dirt riding. There was a small hole in one of the seams after my first ride (no crashes) I don't think they will last long. I have a pair of inline hockey shorts that are much better. I'll stick with those and use these as a backup.

Real Rell bronx,  NY Troy Lee Padded Shorts Excellent shorts and like all previous reviews, they do not ride up under your pants. Very comfortable. Protects skin and buttocks when riding. Recommend for anyone. .

Pete Curtis Los Angeles,  CA Troy Lee Designs - Padded Impact Shorts I bought these padded shorts to wear under my leathers when I ride on the track and canyons. The pads are nice and dense (hard to compress), so they will protect your hip bones from getting as bruised if you fall on the road. The leathers will protect from the road rash so wearing these under leathers will help protect from both scratches and bruises.

Gary J clute,  TX Very comfortable I am a bicyclist and have worn riding shorts for 30 years, and these are the only pair of impact shorts I have found that actually are ergonomically designed for a normal, muscular build like mine. What you want is to forget you are wearing them once you are on the bike, not adding any distraction to your riding. These do just that. The finish was the only problem. One of the pads was not sewn into its pouch completely and was hanging out. Other than that, they are great. I rated the cost benefit low, because for the price, you would hope the build to be better. I can't comment on the durability, yet, because I have only worn them once.

Bill South Bound Brook,  NJ Great Buy!!! These are the best impact shorts i have owned. They are very comfy!! I am 6 ft. tall and 170 lbs. A medium is a good tight fit.

Jim Bend,  OR Great Shorts These shorts are very comfortable and fit under riding pants well. They have good pad placement and the material is form fitting without being taught or bunching. The shorts were almost too long, I wear a high riding knee pad and the shorts stopped at the top of the pad, however, they did not bunch or cause a bulge or uncomfortable situation.

Ryan vacaville,  CT padded shorts Very comfortable, fits snug under my pants without creating a tremendous amount of noticeable bulk. No restriction in movement at all. I highly recommend for added protection under jeans.
