Thor Impact Rig SE

The ultimate under-protector has arrived. Designed to offer maximum coverage yet hug your body, the Impact Rig SE concept is based on a form fitting micro-mesh chassis with integrated soft and hard protective panels that move with your body. The Impact Rig SE is adjustable and versatile with multiple tension straps and a removable articulated back panel. Maximum airflow is achieved by utilizing venting on all 3 construction materials - the plastic, bio-foam, and chassis, are all vented. Removable kidney belt and permanently affixed elbow/forearm guards. Of course all that protection and venting is wasted if it’s not comfortable, so we paid close attention and utilized external seams on the chassis, elastic cuff stitching, and a lightly padded neck roll for maximum comfort. This unit offers the most coverage available in an under-protector.

Scott Shatalow Hosmer,  BC Good "Rig" This is a great product. Once you get over some initial fit/finish issues. The fit is great, if you get the right size, just order one size smaller than your suggested size. Others have had problems with the kidney belt zipper coming undone, and so did I. I liked the belt, so I glued the zippers to stay permanently shut, otherwise one side would come undone 10 minutes into the ride. Once adjusted there is no fuss, feels good with or without an undershirt, and the crash protection has been great for the few times it has been put to use.

Keith Oak Harbor,  WA Thor Motocross - Impact Rig SE Seems to works fine. I haven't tested it in any highspeed get offs, but has worked well in the minor day to day stuff. The zippers for the kidney belt gave me some trouble at first by coming unzipped but now I know to check them prior to suiting up.

Shaun Corinth,  TX Level of Protection and Price - Oustanding Value If you bought this level of sternum, spine, shoulder, elbow, forearm and kidney protection separately it would cost a lot more than the Impact Rig. It is a comfortable fit. I ride hard and I feel confident when I am wearing it. It is true that it gets hot on a sunny day but that's more bearable than a broken spine or a punctured kidney. I love it. It's one of the best value investments I have made for my riding and I would've paid a lot more for it. Not very often I say that.

Carter Gypsum,  CO Thor Motocross - Impact Rig SE I’m very pleased, I’m 6' 1" it could be a little longer the zippers on the waist belt slip down but if you check before , during ,and after you ride they are fine . it fits well with a camel bak. I hope I never have to test the protection plates! if I do I think they will do the job. I would reccomend this product to a friend!

storm miami,  FL impact rig se I got the largest size in this model, it fits alright but I usually need to readjust the elbow guards but nevertheless I feel very safe when I ride(road and dirt).I have fallen down a couple times on the track since I’ve gotten it and have just simply gotten up and gone again, the back protector is a HUGE help, the kidney belt is great as well all though one side always seems to unzip by itself which is very annoying also found the chest protector and shoulder guards as an “A” class life savers
