After being thrown off my quad while riding and messing up my knees, I knew I needed some extra protection. I bought these just in time to wear them for an upcoming race and man did I put them to the test! On Saturdays practice I flipped the quad coming off a corner and was thrown violently. But thankfully I had my EVS knee guards on along with the rest of my gear and was able to get up, rush over to my quad and continue riding. Note: I did have to tuck them into my alpinestars riding boots, and the straps hold better if you wear over sized riding socks. Low price but high on value!

good for what they are
I bought these to protect my knees, one of which had replacement surgery two years ago. I'm happy with them, but there are two things buyers should know - 1 they are long, and have to be tucked into tall boots, and 2 they don't have a fastener across the top of the knee, so the knee cup sits up straight while you're sitting on your bike. I believe the two velcro straps are strong enough to keep them in position should you end up in a crash, so they hopefully will do their job. Other than that the 'fit and finish' are fine, and the price is outstanding.

If you have ever had a knee torn up, you will love these. The fit is just right. Finish is super. Durability is obviously there. Features, as good as the overpriced items sold under (so called) brand names. Cost is great for what you get which, in my opinion, is as good as any I have seen. I feel safe riding with them, as I have experienced knees being torn up or skinned quite badly. In my opinion, if you want to do it right, at a reasonable, affordable price, this is the one. High price does not equate to a better product 100% of the time and this is one of those cases. Spend more, waste your money.

Works for me! These things are a hit and the price is great! Very good value! This is a quality product and well worth the cost, unless you want to lay out the bucks to get elaborate and waste your money, but I really don't see how they could be much better at all. They are strong, well constructed, nice fit comfortably snug, but not too tight with band adjustments making that no problem at all. Quality product, great price, no doubt will do the job, fast ship, good communication and service. What else would one want? Covers all the bases for me! Will be back!

EVS Knee Guards Overall GOOD
They're pretty good overall but they're hard to fit under my boots (A-Star Tech 7's) and the neoprene pad is awesome, the only bad thing is the knee part sticks up while you're riding sitting down, leaving water and mud and crud to build up. Overall good rating

Knee Guards (review)
So far so good, fit's fine and doesn't slide down with direct applicable or over clothing. Hope I won’t have to test the durability any time soon and the finish is nice enough for the cost.

Another unbeatable EVS product for the price. I can't stop talking about how well these fit once you have the proper adjustment. They work either over your outer layer or underneath. Both are very comfortable for hours of riding. I'm loving it!

Review - EVS Option Knee/Shin Guards
After one ride, I'm pretty sure I'm going to like these knee guards. I had to adjust them once, not knowing how tight to make them the first time. Once I did, they stayed put. When you're focusing on riding, you forget you're wearing them. This may sound odd, but I wore them one day while working on a deck, on my knees. They were far better than knee pads designed for that purpose. I certainly recommend them, and the price is right.
