Very nice fit, looks great, size is just like with jeans, really liked it. Unfortunately it is not very heat resistant, my exhaust burned it up on the first ride. I figure I’ll get another one for snowboarding because of the fit :)

Ok for a clearance item
If you get these for less than $50, they are a pretty good deal. I found them one day for $25 and myself and 2 buddies each picked up a pair. Each of us had some sort of tear in them after 1-2 rides. They fit comfortably, and look pretty good, but I would be fuming if I had paid retail for them due to their questionable durability. I rated them a 4 on cost/benefit because I got them so cheap here on MS, but they are not worth the $120 that Fox wants for them.

Quality item, odd sizing
Got these on sale for $29.95. Thought they would make great adventure riding pants. The pants are well made, but have a few quirks. They may be OK for dirt riding, but I would think twice about wearing them on the pavement. Too bad -- they could have been much more versatile.
Pros:
- Looks like quality materials/workmanship
- Thoughtful design with multiple types of material in different places
- Attractive styling
Cons:
- Pant legs are much too long, and no way to adjust length
- Leather covering on the inside of only one of the legs (guess you are out of luck if your exhaust pipe is on the other side)
- No built-in way to add knee armor

For under $40 these are a steal. The fit is pretty good. They are a little baggy for me, but it is not a problem. The only bad thing is that they only button at the waste, so they came undone a few time. The pants have belt loops, so I got a canvas belt for them, and that fixed the problem for me.

These pants fit me good except for being too big around the boot, they flap in the wind some. The snaps are very weak, like to pop open. These pants are too thin for me to rely on them for crash protection but they cut the wind great and look and feel good. For the price they can't be beat.

I paid $30 for one pair, and $25 a few weeks later. I love the fit, over the boot, and the style is nice. However, after 1 ride, they were pinched in the knee area from my knee guards and have a few small holes. They are very thin around the knee, but great on the inside of the legs. In fact, they have a great leather area on the right leg, but not on the left. I'm unsure why they designed it this way. Kickstarter? Anyway, after several more rides, not many more small holes. I would buy again.

Great Value, but there are potential drawbacks too. Fit is low rise, hip hugger design, like jeans; it's NOT roomy for bike pants. There is no real special knee protection/padding. There is no full belt; pants are held up by snap closure only -- less secure. They are on sale for good reason, it seems, but still a good deal.

These pants are great. I ordered a pair for street riding and they've got so many pockets 6 total! The waist feels kind of funny though like its for women or something. Also people say that the pants are too long but the ones I have are a perfect fit, probably a tad too long when I'm standing but when I'm on the bike fit perfectly. They've good ventilation so they don't make a good winter pants though, I'll put them away until the summer.

Great pants with a few exceptions. They're too baggy around my boots which allows them to flap at speed (fit). While flapping they found an exposed part of my exhaust and melted the nylon(?) part of the pant leg (durability). If I laid the bike down these could melt to my leg in an instant. Other then that, I love the pants.

Riding Pants
Nice product from Fox. I use these pants for street riding as opposed to dirt, material feels durable and protective, although I would like them to be a bit thicker. They have a baggy fit which is comfortable and stylish. Only complaint (not major) is the length of the pants. I’m 5'9" and they are about 2" too long walking around but on the bike they fit just right.

Great over the boot pant. The bottoms of the legs did catch on my tail bag, I'll do something about that. For the price they are worth it. Rode 220 miles the first day, mud, gravel, stream crossings, snow, 12 hours in the saddle, no problems.

Interesting design, strange cuffs
Very cool looking pant, purchased here for $30 on sale from $119. More an over-garment to fit over shorts or pants. Light hip protection, but very thin over all. Lots of pockets and adjustable waste. Size fits true, except legs are over 3" too long! Boot cuff starts to flare just below knee to much too large, doesn't even need the boot zippier! Calf touched header pipe and melted hole on pants.

Widest legs ever?
Great pants given the price, they fit everywhere except in the lower legs. Can anyone figure out how to wear bell-bottom leathers on a motorcycle or am I really too uptight to tuck them in my boots? Don’t be afraid to lambaste this review if I honestly have overlooked something obvious.

Of course these pants were a great value for me. I got them at clearance price. They breathe well and look GREAT. I don’t like the over flashy look of most riding pants but these are great. They are also built well with plenty of pockets to hold your stuff and extra tough lining on the inside of the left leg with leather lining the bottom inner edge. The right inner leg gets leather lining all the way down.

Great Pants---Better Price
What a bargain for a well constructed pair of enduro, over the boot style, pant. The bottom of the pant that contacts the frame of the bike are made of leather. They seem to run a little on the long side and I have yet to ride with them. However, they look to be very well made and should take a beating. They will be great for Spring/Fall/Winter riding, but maybe a little heavy for the summer.

They are really cool. Would be a little more useful in the cold if they had even the slightest liner, but they did advertise that they were for the cold, that’s just me wishing. They’re also a little loose and wide at the bottom of the leg, probably to accommodate larger boots, but overall, a great protective outer layer for sure.

Great pants for the price! These are the first pair of motorcycle pants I have purchased, but I am totally satisfied. I took the posted advice and ordered a size larger & I’m glad I did, it allows wearing other pants underneath for those colder mornings. They are a bit long in the leg when walking but not noticeable while riding. Very comfortable! Nice looking pant and lots of pocket space. Would recommend these to anyone in the market for motorcycle pants or just looking for a spare pair.

Great pants for fit and comfort. Very sturdy construction, and the fit is true to size. The pockets on the sides are nice and deep, and there are plenty of them; very secure too. The adjustable velcro straps make a snug fit easy. The only drawback for me on these, were that the legs were too "bell-bottomed", and would flap around a lot when riding. I know they are over-the-boot cut, but even with full motocross boots on, there is just too much play. Would be perfect if they had an adjustable strap.

2008 Fox Racing Panther Pants
I got these pants for $30 bucks. That aside they're worth every penny of the original MSRP of $120. I even bought 2 pair because after I got the first pair I was so impressed I ordered another. The fit and finish of the pants is top notch. I’m 6'1 and they're a bit long and loose over the boots but fit up top perfect to avoid "plumber crack" and sliding all over when your shifting around on the bike. I'd like to see a few more pockets, but I’m slightly obsessed w/ pockets so for the pocket normal people out there, there's plenty I suppose. When ordering make sure to order one size up from your normal jean size as these are best when worn over jeans or some other under/pant gear. All in all this is easily one of my favorite pieces of gear and I've highly recommended them to everyone I ride w/.

I use them as touring pants, but the potential for all kinds of riding is easily recognizable. The inseam is too long for me...perhaps there are different sizes. The 36w fits like a 34L....I'm 31L, so look for a different size. I would try a 34w next time, hoping for shorter inseam. Not much protection other than standard hip padding. It has belt loops, but cinching is easily achieved without a belt. This is a tremendous bargain.

Short crotch, long legs, weird construction but I kinda like 'em. With a 30" inseam, I had to shorten them by 3 1/2" (a little bit involved). There is absolutely no knee armor (?). But for $29.00 I'm not complaining.

I bought these because of the clearance sale and they were cheaper than a pair of jeans. I use them for street riding. They are nice and cool with plenty of room. I don't care for the large legs but they didn't catch on anything and there is no protection except in the hips. The fit is reasonable but baggy. Nicely made and the adjustable waistband is a sure winner.

These were an incredible value and I highly recommend them. They fit me like a glove, are made of high quality materials and look great! I should mention that these Size Small's are mens pants and I am a small framed woman, about a size 6 and the fit me perfectly except that they are a little long but not by much. These pants fit well, though the legs are a little long if you are under 5'8”. The dual waist cinch belts make these pants very comfortable and adjustable. The pockets are great, plenty of room. They seem to be plenty durable. I have been on several long desert rides and they don't show any signs of wear yet. You definitely can't beat the price. The panther pants are a great deal. I've only worn them over my jeans, but they are sturdy, padded, and the leather on the inner side of the legs noticeably helps with the heat of my v-twin. I realize these aren't sport bike pants, but they do a great job of it. I can put them on with my jeans and shoes already on and take them off the same way, making them great for chilly commutes or just a little added protection. This is a quality product. Sizing is pretty straight forward. I wear a 31" in many jeans, and the 32 fits over my jeans perfectly. I could have gone with the 30", but there's adjustment for the waist.

Good riding pants at a budget price
These are a comfortable pair of riding pants for a good price. They fit well and have extra adjustments on both sides of the waist. I've purchased two pair, both on sale and have no regrets. I check this site often and find some great deals.

Good deal, but legs too long
These pants were too good a deal to pass up so I bought a pair, even though I've always worn in the boot pants. I wear size 30 and the pants fit well except that the legs are about 4 inches too long. I did a cheap and easy fix myself by cutting off the bottom leg zippers, cut off the excess leg length, welded the bottom edge with a lighter, and sewed a few stitches.

Great pants for a super price. I ride dual sport, through brush and dirt. The heel portion of the pants are cut shorter, so the pants don't drag under the heel of your boot. Plenty of pocket space for cargo. The only thing these pants are missing, is someone else to washem'.

No knee padding. Huge legs at the bottom make you wonder why they put zippers on the legs. You must tuck them in your boots or you get too much flap in the wind plus they tangle up on pegs. Not my choice again.

$29.00 is an unbeatable price. The fit is good, but the length is a bit long for a short guy like me. A velcro strap on the legs would be great to keep them tight around the boots and short guys from walking on them. I currently duct taped the pants to my boots. Taller riders don't have this problem. Otherwise a great pair of pants.

Great fit, especially the flex panels at the knees and crotch. The pockets are well located and functional. Look good and very well constructed. The only fault I found was in the quality of the snaps at the waistband, they don't hold very well after only a few uses. If the snaps were of better quality I would have given them 5's across the board.

These pants (at least mine) have a very short crotch to top of pant span. If you like hip huggers these are your pants. The 2 button snaps are very weak. Due to the short waist and weak snaps, my first ride in these pants resulted in several moonings of the guys behind me...the snaps kept coming undone and unzipped (after they gave me a couple of good nut snuggies). I will have to figure out how to add about 2 or 3 inches of material and a new clip snap of some sort before I can use these. Also, the legs seem to be a bit long for a 34 waist (I'm 6' 185lbs) compared to the way Levi's are cut. I think the bottoms will get frayed after I get the waist modified. So I question the durability but can't answer for sure.

For $30, you can't beat these. Some thoughts: A little long for the waist size, but meant to be worn over the boots. Definitely too much material to tuck in. Nice pockets (2 open, 2 zipper, both on leg sides. Run a little warm, but not for very cold weather. Included velcro-removable hip pads (simple foam). Nice amount of waist adjustment available. Baggy fit, pretty handsome. Waist fits true to size (mine are 30 inches).

For the price they are great for over pants to keep you clean during commute to work. The protective heat guard needs to be larger, because my exhaust burned a hole in the leg. The zippers on the legs work their way up at highway speeds. Over all they will do for what I bought them for.

Buttins spring like a Panther
I bought the pants as the price was too good to resist. They work great for sloppy, muddy, wet days, as the pants keep a lot of the goop out of the boots. However, there is an annoying problem that I cannot get past...the waist buttons keep popping open! I loosen the Velcro to take some pressure off the buttons, but then the pants slide off my hips. Annoying! One crash, and I noticed some holes in the knee. For the price, I think they are a steal, but they should've used a different waist closure.

I haven't been able to figure these out. There's little to no padding, so I figured they're probably meant to be waterproof overpants. But the mesh vents told me I'm probably wrong about that, too. They're beautifully made, but I haven't figured out what to use them for yet. Fly fishing?

I am thrilled with these pants. The pockets are great...I almost LOST things in them, there are so many! It was really cold and wet the last time we rode. I was warm and dry in these pants with just long johns underneath. The only thing, they run just a tad small in the waist. If I were to do it again, I'd get a size larger. Great pant for the price. I got the black and red, thinking about another pair in another color. You will not be disappointed.

Excellent pants, well worth the money in spite of the 35 inch inseam. I will have to do something about that so you are advised to consider the length. I'm 5'10, so that give me about 4 inches more then I need. Still, at $25 you can afford to have they shortened an end up with a premium pair of riding pants for a good price. Fox has provided excellent construction, well thought out pockets and zippers. You will want to order one size up if you intent to wear these as over pants.

What a great deal! The Pants are great for warm and cool days but you will need a little more if it is cold. The pants look good and all the pockets are easily accessible. One critical review is that the pants waistline is too low. I got the biggest size (44) and was disappointed they did not pull up enough. The pants ride too low on the hips in my opinion. Overall, I would buy them again and have already recommended them to others.

Awesome pants especially for the price. Good quality and features. Waist is pretty true to size and adjustable. Inseam is incredibly long. I had a local outdoor outfitter shorten the inseam by 4 inches to make the pants usable. They were still worth the money even after I paid to have them fixed, but just keep inseam length in mind. I am 6'0 tall with an average inseam, and have never had this issue with any other pair of pants I’ve owned.

Smoking deal for $29.00! I picked up two more pairs! Like everything about them except the snaps at the waist. They don't hold very well. I think a gentle squeeze with a pair of pliers would do the trick. If not, I'll throw on some new snaps.
The fabric in the knee area would have been better if it was reinforced. There's just a single layer of fabric. One unplanned get-off and they may tear. Time will tell.

Having pants that go OVER the boots give you a big advantage, if you ride mud or send. With my older pants that go inside the boots, a lot of the send and the mud ended up in your boots which make the ride uncomfortable. The second thing is the pockets that come on this model are 5 out of 5 in my book, you get three pockets on each side and one of them have a zipper to store keys or cell phone. On the product review they don't tell you that it's water proof but I don't recall my wallet (I keep it in the pocket) getting wet ever. Over all this pants exceed my expectation, thank you FOX.
