I wore these gloves in 35 degree weather doing 60 mph, hands not warm at all nor did it block from cold wind, they might be ok at 40 mph.

The glove looks ok. The fingers are a little slim and might need some break in. My thumb and middle finger are the only ones that fill in the glove fingers the Velcro strap could be a little different.
