decent
I have quite a few low end gloves. Most don’t provide what I consider enough protection. So I thought I would try something more hi-end. A lot of technical features and adjustability as to where you want the support for your wrist. I was hoping for more leather on the palm. As it is, it only protects the thumb and index. imo there is need for leather at the pinkie and the perimeter of the palm.

Great compromise
I recently started trail riding and the jarring was wrecking my wrists. I didn't like the idea of braces AND gloves, so I thought I'd give these a try. I've ridden a few rides now and they work great. I raced my first enduro recently and after 50 miles, my wrists were the only thing not hurting! The gloves are comfortable and seem to be well built so far.

Just what I expected
I'm a big fan of EVS products and these didn't disappoint. My wrists aren't that strong so I wanted something that gave me support and protection without the hassle of separate pieces of gear. These do just that. Easy to put on and seem well made. There is a separate piece of hard foam that velcroes to the back of the glove. Then the straps wrap around it and your wrist. In addition to helping support your wrist, it would protect the back of your hand from rocks or impact. They also have some extra padding in the palms (gel?) that is nice. Good piece of gear, I'm glad I bought them. BTW, sizing runs large so if you are borderline, go for the smaller size. I got mediums and they are close to a large in size.

While the support is not as good as a normal wrist support it does offer support that most gloves don't give. Its fit and finish is great.

awesome
The combination of materials is very nice! My other gloves were causing blisters so I replaced them with these and I couldn’t be happier they have extra padding and leather were you need it which helps reduce blisters and fatigue. The wrist straps are also very comfortable and adjustable which is also very nice!

Just enough wrist support to prevent serious injury without feeling bulky. Good news...the wrist support is always there...Bad news, the wrist support is always there. A very minor extra step in putting on your gloves, but well worth it!
