Travis Manorville,  NY You get what you pay for... I picked these up for my dual sport for extra protection in the dirt. They might as well be a cast. I realize MX boots require some breaking in but these things have zero flexibility in the ankle. Shifting is a whole-leg affair instead of a toe flick. I wound up biting the bullet and buying Tech 8's - a world of difference.

Charles Hart Columbus,  GA Moose Racing Boots I purchased these for my 11 year old son. He has really enjoyed them and will not ride without having them on. This is his first pair of Riding Boots and it appears that they will last well beyond him outgrowing them.

John Stamford,  CT Good boot for the price. This seems to be a well made boot with a shin plate and marvelous protection. They are also surprisingly comfortable. I ordered mine w/ ATV soles which are good for traction. I was pleasantly surprised how comfy they were, even when walking around for a decent stretch of time. But should order one size down.

Alex Bondville,  VT Moose Racing F1 Overall a great boot with a fantastic price. A ton of great safety and fit features. I have wacked some stuff hard enough to break my foot peg off and only some scuffing on the boot. Downside is they do not resist water at all, hit one puddle at speed and you have squishy foot for the rest of the day. Other then that I am very happy and for the price and other features I would by another pair and deal with the wet foot.

Brandon Seattle,  WA Good Boots for the Price Somehow my feet have grown this last year requiring me to buy new boots (size 15). I purchased these boots because I did not have a lot of money to spend. Out of the box they are super comfortable. They are not as stiff, or protective as aplinestars etc. I will be using them as a dual sport boot, but mostly off road. I just got back from a 5 day trip that lasted almost 800 miles. The boots seemed to hold up pretty well. For the price I am pretty excited about the boots.

David Gaskins Lawtey,  FL not bad for the price I only paid a 100$ for these and that is good freakin' insurance against a broken ankle, they will take a little time to break in but all good boots used to be like that. To break in I wore them in the water and mud, hey got good and soaked and I walked around a bit in them. They are quite comfy now. I did have to adjust my shifter location on my klr 650 as a side note.

chris Deland,  FL Dual Sport Rider In terms of size, I think they ran slightly large. I suspect a 13 would have fit me better than my street shoe size of 14. While these boots are not for me as a dual sport rider 60% street and 40% dirt, I think they would work if I was into motocross. Seem to be well made and very reasonably priced.

craig sutton,  NH M1 boots Boots have a loose fit that seems to require heavy socks, and the break in period was very long. Otherwise the boot is solid. Awesome protection and durability.

T.J. Graham,  WA M1 Boots Right out of the box they are extremely comfy. Like any riding boot when new they need a break-in time, but these boots are very nice even on the first ride. Rode the track straight out of the box and they where not bad. I was able to perform at about a 90% confidence level Jumping, Cornering, Shifting and breaking on the very first ride! I wear a size 10 to 10 1/2 wide, I ordered a size 10 and they are just right have just enough room for thicker socks for winter riding and adjustability after break-in period. Calf area for me is nice I have Larger Calf muscles and these boots accommodate nicely for it. I question the buckles time will tell but replacement parts are available. The best boot for the price!! Joseph Thornton Vidalia,  LA M1 I like the boots a lot. Still trying to get used to them. Having some trouble with enough room to fit between the peg and the shifter with these boots on. I am told MX boots are like that and I'll just get used to it. My legs are really big so I have trouble tucking pants in the boots. But the boots are huge so a lot of pants wont fit over the boot either. For MX boots I'd say they are pretty good so far. Many MX boots cost a lot more to get into and see if you like the style or not.

Chuck Holbrook,  AZ Moose M1's So far I am very pleased with my purchase of the Moose M1 boots. They are as comfortable as tennis shoes, give me the support that I wanted, and when I get off the bike to explore something on foot, I have no problem since they flex when walking. I really like these boots!!!

Rich Central,  NJ Bought these for street use... Yes they are overkill for street and they look like road warrior meets punk glam band, but the support and protection they offer supasses any street boot. They break in well and the stiff vinyl toe takes a little getting use to when feeling for the shift lever. Initially they limit your mobility so be careful, but once you adjust the strap angles to fit your shape and break them in, you'll wonder how you wore anything else. An added bonus, if you should throw your feet down in a sudden stop or there are potholes at the stop light, the extra support will save your ankles, ditto if you should ever have to lay your bike down. Make sure you wear jeans that can fit over the boots, especially if you have ham-like calves, like me!

John Holmes Omaha,  NE Value, value, value I'm a dual sport rider (KLR 650) and these are the perfect boots for occasional off road riding. I'm size 10.5 to 11 and the 11 boots fit perfect. The heel fits better than some other boots I tried, and they are adjustable enough to fight just right. Looks like good quality and should last a long time with my intended use.

RedRover Tahoe,  CA Great boots for the money. They are a great deal for the money. At first they were a little uncomfortable off the bike (walking around, scouting lines, etc.). They broke in after a few hours of riding. I've only got about 700 miles on them so far (60/40 dirt/pavement dual sport) so I can't rate durability yet. Great entry level boot without a great big price tag. I'd definitely buy again.

Todd springdale,  AR Great boots Fit is great. Really well designed. They really form down to your foot and ankle giving plenty of support. The aggressive tread is okay but I kind of wish I had gotten the normal soles. Ended up with extra sand in the trailer at Little Sahara

Michael Greenwell Wenatchee,  WA Moose Racing-M1 Boots Overall a very good boot considering the cost! Yes, they do fit persons with large calves and the size was spot on (you MAY want to disregard the comment, by another reviewer, about purchasing one size larger!) The all-terrain soles get caught on your pegs and it's very difficult to set your feet exactly where you want them!!!

Tim Everett,  WA Great boot, Great price! I really like these boots. They fit me great. Wore them in an unexpected downpour for about 25 minutes on the freeway, kept my feet dry. For the price, I have not seen a better boot. They really look nice and I like the fact that you can buy replacement buckles and straps for about $2.50 each.

Doug Surrey,  BC GREAT BOOT FOR FAT CALVES! Ok, I admit it… I have fat calves! But at least now I have a great boot for them! Bindings are great & easy to replace. Very comfortable & very good protection! They aren't always waterproof as I had hoped but in thick muddy water they were great! I got stuck in a few streams & got 2 good soakers. I don't know of any boot that can handle that! I LOVE THESE BOOTS!

Walter Jay Peterson Lakeland,  FL Purchased as a Gift These boots were purchased as a Christmas gift so I never got a chance to test them out on my own stumps. I picked them out mainly because of the all-terrain soles which look very effective. In fact, I looked them over before they were gift-wrapped and they appear to be very well-made.

Steve Hooker Park City,  British Co boot review Just took these out of the box and they fit great and true to size. Good flex and nice fit on the larger calf I have. Good adjustments and I see no problem fitting most larger sized feet or legs. Good shank support for footpeg with good boot height to protect from hitting the footpeg on kick start. These will perform nicely. Clean finish and workmanship. Excellent $100 value. They seem lighter than the 3.5lbs stated. Enjoy.

be_are_why blairstown,  MA M1 Boot I really like this boot. It's really comfortable right out of the box, amazing. My only concern in the 3 rides I've used these boots on is the top buckle pops open sometimes, may just need to be adjusted correctly.
