More Comfortable than my street boots.
This is my first pair of off road boots. I did a little research before my purchase and bought these because of their reputed comfort compared to other brands. It was difficult for me to spend the money on a brand I didn't know, but I've been extremely pleased. The boots are comfortable right out of the box. The articulated heel allows me to shift gears easily. They are walk around comfortable. I haven't had these long enough to review the durability, but Gaerne has a good reputation. Also, I haven't gotten the boots wet enough yet to comment on their water resistance. They get a 3 for cost simply because they are awfully expensive. I wear Sidi road boots and I like them also, but anything over $200 is an awful lot in my book.

Best boots I've had...
These boots are more comfortable than any other motorcycle boots I've owned. I'll likely buy some Gaerne street boots, now. They are mega-comfy, easily taken apart for any necessary repairs, and provide more protection than most other similarly priced boots; specifically in the ankle support system.

Boots fit great with little to no break in. have only owned a-stars until now. Will definitely order another pair when these wear out. They do get my feet a little wet in deeper water x-ings. They feel great and are well made. Great value.

Tight Fit
I returned these because the fit was way too tight. The boots had plenty of toe room, and quality was excellent. The Alpinestars Tech 7 that I replaced them with are slightly snug, but overall a much better fit. Beware if you have feet that are a tad wide.
