I have just bought these boots, so I cannot speak to their longevity. Comparing them to other $100-$150 boots I considered, I would say these are far better quality. They have a great ankle padding/support. Buckles are easy to buckle down. They fit true to size. My only problem is that I have a wide foot, so they squeeze the sides of my feet pretty good. Not sure if this is something that will go away after they are broken in, or if I should just go up a size?

This is my second pair of 661 boots First pair were great.. very comfortable. I was a little disappointed at their longivity . i only have one ride on these new ones but so far I like them. They are a lower cost design - no booties, no pivot but broke in quickly. They are very comfortable. I am hoping they last moe than the 3 yrs I got out of the first pair.

Just used these for the first time last weekend. Took a little bit to get used to, as with all boots, but I’m very happy with how these boots perform. In most cases, you get what you pay for, but with these I think you get more than what you pay for. Definitely recommend it!

Yes my bike is a little hard to start but i dont think there should be a huge chunk missing from the sole after two rides! The sole was so soft and slippery on my kickstart lever my foot slide off a few times and took material off the boot with it. That aside the boots look good are comfortable and were accurate sizing for me, i have fat feet but i wish the ankle area was a bit tighter. But overall just pay attention to your kick starting form and you will enjoy them.

All around a great boot and very comfortable when riding. Superior protection to any other boot that I've owned before.
