Shift enforcer knee/shin guards

Read about these knee guards in Web bike world and for the price, they are a good buy. I wanted extra protection for street riding only and these fit reasonably well under my Sliders jeans. I also have Thor knee guards and by comparison, the straps on the Shifts are more comfortable or perhaps less noticeable than the Thors (this may be just my calve size too). The fit and finish appear to be good but I find that the Thors seem to have a little more padding and the knee pad is more contoured so they fit a little better under the jeans than the Shift. Overall, I prefer the Thors but would wear these as well without difficulty. I have fortunately not had to test the durability with anything more than putting them on and taking them off. Neither of these guards will slide out from the leg of the Sliders jeans...you have to unbutton the jean and remove the guards from the "top."

Motorcycle commuter

Didn't come close to fitting my upper calve and my legs are totally average not skinny not big. I wouldn't think the elastric straps on these things would retain their elasticity for long. I ended up buying some easton baseball catcher shin guards and cut some of the multiple pads off of them. they are better built, protect more against injury and cold wind. $60.00 vs $20.00 +S&H.

Knee coverage is too small

It's like all other knee/shin protector but the knee coverage is way too small. Too bad I threw away the tags. Would have returned them.

Solid Knee Pads

The knee pads seems to be pretty good but i havent put them to the test. The Knee portion is kind of bulky but it only gets uncomfortable after of hours of riding. Its a cant beat for the price purchase for sure.

Great Knee pads

i got these to go inside kevlar jeans since I didn't like the pads that go in the jeans. I wear them on the inside bc I tried on the outside and the knees would bend backwards. Can't go wrong for the price

The protection is good, however, the knee protection is kind of "in the air". I mean, it does not stay in your knee due to the fact that it does not have a wrap for the upper leg. Other than that, I would highly recommend them

Field tested

Had these for about a month now and have worn them every day since I got them. I street ride so knee protection is mandatory for me. They fit really nice above my jeans. THESE THINGS ARE AMAZING! They got the job done, all for a cheap price. recommended!

Well worth the price says another street rider

The four reviews prior to this one convinced me to just try them many months ago since I was making an order for other parts anyway. They have become standard gear to ride street bikes with (even under my riding pants that have CE knee armor in them) for 99% of my riding. As stated earlier, they are not bulky so they hide / fit under both riding pants and jeans. IMHO, a great idea if you aren't wearing actual race-leathers with hard armor.

Good kneepads

Not as bulky as most. I use these for street riding as they fit good under my Draggin Jeans and other riding pants and the protection stays where it is needed. Good ventalation and wide comfortable straps.
