didn't work for me

Installed it according to instructions & went to a concert that night (~45 degrees & humid). When I came out, it had become totally opaque, totally.... I could see nothing through it, so I took it off. I found it in a drawer yesterday; it is still opaque.

Works as advertised but with a side effect....

Easy to install and plenty of room on the visor of my Shoei RF1100. Blocks ALL fog as advertised....BUT....there is significant blurring of any light coming into the visor. It's fine for most of the day, but during low light conditions, things become a little blurry because of the light refracting through the lens. I've decided to keep it on for now and see if I get used to it.

Visor insert

I used it one day. Perfect for day riding but at night it left a glare on all lights. I had to get rid of it.

can't make it fog up

Follow directions and its easy to put on your helmet. There is a sticky looking film around the perimeter of the screen that detracts from the look of the finished job, but I can live with that. You cannot make this thing fog up and believe me I've tried. My Gmax ADV helmet would fog for any reason but now it's fixed,

Awesome, awesome, awesome

A very simple and inexpensive solution to a problem that I've been just coping with. I was seriously considering a new helmet with a pin lock visor for winter riding, but not anymore!

These things really work

I was skeptical but thought I'd try it since I was struggling with fogging on my adventure full face helmet. I can't believe the difference. No fog at all. I just wish I'd taken the time to really get my shield clean before installing. I have some residual dirt that was my own fault. Take the time to do it right and you won't regret this purchase.

Works really well

It's not perfect, but it is SO MUCH BETTER than anything else I've tried so far. I can see during the cold, rain days instead of having to stop and wipe out the fog at each light. Still collects water vapor a bit, but that's manageable! I'd definitely recommend it. Installation is fairly easy, too.

No more fog!

Works extremely well keeping my visor from fogging over, but get some glare at night unless I keep it cleaned. I rated fit lower as it was universal and doesn't cover the who shield.

Fog shield

Great for cold days, does not fog up very pleased. Easy installation, price a little high but worth it. Fast shipping from motorcycle superstore as always.

somewhat works

I ride in 20 degrees and colder. This product only helps a little. It is better than nothing, but not by much. I do not feel the cost is worth it. I would say it is worth only half of what is being charged, for the performance I am getting.

Worked as describe, but with a trade off.

The product does what its supposed to do, but it does take away with some vision clarity. At night, the headlight and tail lights from other vehicles do produce extreme glare. Knowing the importance of reduced visibility at night, this can be a concern. Otherwise, I enjoy the product for those early morning, cold rides to the office.

Did not like it

This went on very easily and did the job but I took it off. Didn't like looking through it. Cut down on visibility and obscured vision clarity. Took it off. I will just crack my visor at the traffic lights then drop it back down while moving at higher speeds.

Best way to keep my lense from fogging up yet

I live in the Pacific Northwest and ride about 70 miles a day on my commute. Even if the stupid weatherman says no rain today, he is frequently wrong. I have to pop the visor up at the lights, and then it gets rain on the inside. This gizmo has worked perfectly so far. The only thing I would say is it is a little awkward to clean, but you just have to do it patiently and gently. Otherwise, best product yet for keeping my visor from fogging up on me.

Easily scratched

These come with a tacky substance on the shield that is required for the anti-fog protection to work. The tack is sticky and easily attracts gunk, but it cannot be cleaned because it is also very easily marred with regular cleaning of the shield, even with the softest of terry cloths. Unless you are extremely careful to not get it dirty, you will soon be replacing it.
