Not bad for $30; no where near worth $100

Very disappointed. This bag offers very little. There are no compartments, just a bag. The closure is a velcro strip, made waterproof by rolling it; pretty Mickey Mouse. The velcro catches all clothing going in or out of the bag. The plastic snaps are brittle and failed on the first trip. I would not buy it again.

    Great Looking Bag

It looks great and it holds a good amount of stuff, however the material is weak and the price is way too high for what this bag is. I would have bought a better bag for similar price if I had read these reviews before I purchased. Will consider other brands for the future. Thanks anyway.

    Terrible Quality. Never Again.

I've had this bag for about a year, but I've used it for less than 100 miles of riding. 4 short rides to and from work, tops. I grabbed it this morning for its fifth ride, and a seam is coming undone for no reason at all. I've never even had this bag half full, let alone stuffed it. Never abused it. Heck, it looks brand new right now- if I showed it to you and never told you it was used, you'd assume I just bought it today. Except the see-through luggage window has a seam around it for some reason, and that seam is coming undone, which means if I rode in the rain with this bag water would pour right in from the outside. I've owned many dry bags over the years, from SeaLine to Wolfman, etc.

    Not Durable

It's a very good looking bag, and the straps and hardware are sturdy. My only concern when I got it was that the material is thin and didn't seem like it would stand up to much friction or stress. My first ride using the bag was a 4 day trip. It held a lot, tied down well, and kept everything dry. But, the material ripped, about 1 inch long, and not even in a high stress area, just some random place on the side. I will still use it as a regular duffel bag, but was disappointed given its price.

    Great So Far

I've actually used this in a downpour and everything in it stayed BONE DRY. The only thing I don't like is the way the clear address card window was cut from the inside rather than the outside. Seems a good place to spring a leak sometime. I just used black Gorilla Tape to tape over it. That's the only reason I gave it a 4 instead of a 5 on fit and Quality.

    So far so Good!

I used it on a ten day trip. The bag is roomy enough for a week depending on how you pack. I thought the bungees were built into the bag but they're not. They just include two bungees with rubber covered hooks. It did rain for about 30 minutes of my trip. I parked in a rest stop and waited under a pavilion and left the bag attached to the bike because I knew it was waterproof. All the contents inside were completely dry when I reached the hotel. Would recommend!

    Great bag, but.....

I strongly caution against using the bungee cords that come with the bag (the reason for the low Installation score). This is my second bag because the cords failed (actually broke at the connecting point of the metal.

    perfect product!

I just had this bag on a 3500 miles tour. I placed it on the back seat of a 2013 Piaggio BV350. The fact that it had the tie downs was one of the best parts and I was able to have my rain suit on top of the bag held on via the snap straps. I would recommend this product highly.

    GIVI WP400 ROLL BAG

Being a roll bag, you can size it down or fill to capacity. I strap it to the grab handles on the seat of my ST1300 with the supplied bungees, perfect for accessing jackets or rain gear for those unexpected weather changes. I did insert a stiffener in the bottom to prevent the bag from sagging down on the sides to protect painted surfaces. A flexible foam board is available where school supplies are sold.

    Perfect for me!

I purchased this to carry my cold weather gear and lunch when I commute to work and it has worked perfectly so far. Its a big bag but can be rolled down easily to save space. It comes with bungies so that's one less thing to track down before using the bag. I rode in a torrential downpour on my way home from work at 75+ speeds on the freeway and you guessed it, totally waterproof. Became my go to bag for commuting in an instant. Highly recommended and excellent Givi quality as expected!

    Disappointed

I read all the reviews and with it being "GIVI" I thought who could go wrong! I must say when my bag arrived I was very disappointed. The material is not at all what I had expected, in places you can see through it. Mine came with two little holes already in the bag. I live in Kyrgyzstan and returning within the 60 days is not a choice. Not just the time but the cost. It has turned me off to any other Givi product. Glad others are happy with theirs.

    Better Than Expected

I purchased this to use on extended motorcycle trips for its size and weatherproofing. It exceeded my expectations on a weeklong motorcycle trip in which we encountered a lot of rain. The loops made it easy to tie down and the cinching straps made it easy to pack down once all the gear was inside. I only wish it came in a more hi-viz color.

    Love this bag

Bought it for a ride down through Virginia, North Carolina, and Tennessee for 1500 Miles on the Skyline and Blue Ridge Parkways. Caught in a heavy downpour and fog on the Parkway at a 5000 foot elevation, it was completely waterproof. It came with two strong bungee cords and fastens on in seconds. I packed a whole week's worth of clothes in the bag with room to spare. I love the way everything fits in the bag and plan on using it instead of my suitcase in the future.
