Ripped off!!

I just had this installed on my 2006 Electra Glide, today. Bike actually ran good before I had this installed, just wanted to increase performance and fuel/air ratio and gas mileage. Now, it runs like crap. I was worried I was even going to make it home without calling for a tow truck! Popping, sluggish response, hesitation, missing. This is B.S.! If it doesn't "Auto Tune in the next 96 hours, it's coming out and someone is refunding my money. I'll go back to where it was with just Screaming Eagle tuner. Had NO problems with S.E., tuner!

Cobra power pro black tuner

It was a waste of money for my 2007 Yamaha Roadstar Warrior. Makes my engine miss fire! I thought it was suppose to auto tune? Worst investment I've made for my motorcycle! I don't know if I should take it out, or take it into the shop to see if they can tune it. Called the company and told them I would bring it to them to tune it because I live close to them, they told me they are not set up for that. They gave me a number to send them the unit and they would check it. How are they going to know if they don't see how it effects my motorcycle? The warranty states that if they don't find anything wrong with it that they will send it back to me at my expense. I chose to not loss anymore money!! Don't waste yours!

Reading the Negative reviews it sounds like yall just installed and went with the factory settings . Maybe you should try tuning the thing a bit rich or lean. I've had this product on 3 bikes now and after install had to tweak it a shade from the factory settings which is noted in the install papers if I recall correctly and on the VTX 1800 I had it took the popping out of the trailing side of the throttle which is a lean condition and on both my Harleys it did improve overall performance in all ranges after a tinker job on it.

Installed FI-2000 PowrPro on 2010 Ultra, stock 96 CI with super-trap nightstick slip-ons (3 extra discs and open cone caps) Also Arlen Ness big sucker breather with stock cover. Pulls strong to 115+. You can't just gut the mufflers and run open intake, then expect the tuner to fix it all. Match up something reasonable and you will be pleased with the results.

I installed this unit on a 2014 Fatboy, along with V&H big radius 2 into 2 and a V&H v02 naked intake. It ran ok, but the decel pop was insane! I tried removing the baffle, installing silencers in the pipe, packing the baffle, etc etc. No luck. What really made me take it off my bike was when I washed my bike. The mass of flimsy wiring and cheap connectors allowed water into the circuit somehow, causing my rear O2 sensor to not function properly until it dried out. When I was shopping for a tuner, this one was selling for a premium price. I wanted a really good tuner. Man was I let down. I installed a V&H fuel pack FP3 and my bike is a different ride altogether. No more decel pop. Gobs of torque. I could have had 2 fuel packs for the cost of this POS. Buyer beware. I see they are now coming out with a "Black" version of this tuner, allowing adjustment for decel pop. Although nice, it still doesn't solve the flimsy wires and connector problems. You still have to run wiring to your injectors and O2 sensors and the wiring is sub-standard to OEM wiring. The fuel pack just connects to the data link. That's it! Oh, one final thing. This product intercepts the signals coming from your bike and modifies them before sending them on down the line. If the unit fails, you could be stuck out in the middle of nowhere. It's a gimmick. Cobra tries to tell you that it's an evolution of the map-based tuners, but if you look at it, the unit is getting its info from a map-based ecm. Save yourself the headache and get a unit like the fuel pack. Flash your ecm with a custom tune and you're off to the races.

I first tried a very inexpensive tuner on my 2008 VTX1800N3. No improvement. I then put a Power Commander IIIusb on. Ran pretty good, especially in the 3rd and 4th gear power bands, but between the cost of the unit and the cost of the dyno tune, and the narrow range of improvement in performanceI didn't feel like I got my money's worth. Bought the FI2000 pro and installed it. The tuner is very inconsistent. Some days it takes over and the bike runs GREAT! other days, you would think someone put dirt in the tank. For a $450-550, frankly, I expect more. I have now installed the same unit on a 2006 VTX1800s, and am convinced it was running better before I put the FI2000 pro on it. Had it too long to return, so I guess it's mine forever. Couldn't feel good about selling it to someone else. I would not recommend it, at least not for a VTX, since that is my only experience with it.

I own a 2013 FLHP I bought it brand-new I removed the catalytic converter de baffled my exhaust the bike ran very lean until I installed the K&n free flow filter and installed the fi 2000 , The bike has run very good so far, great mid range and top end. Also I run a steady 220 to 230° temperature Highway reading at the head bolt on the rear cylinder, i'm about 2000 miles now with this cobra FIt 2000 if it lasts with no problems its a great investment. On a do it yourself plug-and-play

I have the Power Pro for 3 years and started running slower and rough the last year thought it was something else but it finally completely shut the bike down would not start and as soon as I disconnected it everything started and ran as expected.

Put on 2011 Street Glide, worked great until it was on 3 months right at warranty end. Almost left my wife and I stranded but was ably to limp bike home. Took it off and rode but under same conditions and no problems. Don't buy this product.

Great product, I put the Cobra Fi2000 Power Pro on a 02 Warrior and now I have a real kickass hotrod. Stopped the decal backfire, more Horsepower and pull through all the power bands, impressive!! If you only buy one after market piece for your bike, this is it. The Cobra Fi2000 power pro is worth every penny.
