Product Information

Continental Conti Road Attack 2 Hyper Sport Touring Radial Front Tire
  • Revolutionary new technology that offers a level of grip, safety, mileage and dynamics never known before in the sport-touring radial market
  • Traction Skin: the revolutionary new micro-roughness of the tread optimizes the mechanical adhesion and offers the safest, fastest break-in period in the market
  • Continuous Compound Technology (shared from the ContiRace Attack product line): a single compound is used that through a temperature controlled curing process delivers the benefits of a multi-compound tire without the abrupt transition between the different compounds that other multi-compound tires are known for
  • Center Tread Area, wear resistant = Mileage
  • Shoulder Tread Area = Increased grip from center to shoulder
  • Continuous Transition from Center to Shoulder = Smooth and predictable performance

Review Conti Attack

I had these installed on my K1300S. They stuck to the pavement as if the bike was on rails. Excellent warm up time, excellent grip and very predictable. After the recall, I switched to Michelins Pilot 4's which are a great tire for mileage however they do not come close to the grip of the Conti's. I will sacrifice some milage to the planted feel of the Conti's anyway and will go back the Continental next hoop change. If your more of a sport rider than touring, buy yourself a set of these, you will not be disappointed. On the other hand, if your riding style is not as technical and your interested in is simply how much mileage you can get out of set of tires, look elsewhere.

Road Attack 2 does not last

I bought a used 2011 R1200RT with 1300 miles on it that was equipped with this tire from the factory. The tire was squared off by 4500 miles and I replaced it at 5300. I have never had to replace a front tire before a rear. Usually have to replace the front with every other rear replacement. Really disappointing life for an OEM tire.

squared off after only 2500 miles

I have a Yamaha FJR1300. When I needed to replace the factory tires, I had these spooned on hoping to get some decent mileage and grip - in that order. These are supposed to be sport touring tires, right? You're not going to get much "touring" out of these tires. The squaring off is unbelievably bad after such a short amount of miles. The grip is good, but you'll have to replace the tires much sooner than expected. For this much money, I expected a whole lot more.

Excellent Tire !!

I can't rate the wet traction or tread life cause I've only had them for a few weeks, but the handling has improved so much my bike is now more sport than touring.

Superb Tire

This tire is mounted on the front of my XR1200. The XR is a 600 pound 'sport' -ish bike. This tire plants well in abrupt maneuvers, and is completely stuck to the asphalt. The break in time is almost non-existent, and at 2700 very hard ridden miles, this tire has still not reached half of its life. I do notice a lack of necessary rigidity over 80mph when pushing this tire through a corner, but like stated, the motorcycle is 600 pounds. But otherwise, a wonderful addition to my bike. Will definitely run it again.
