Puig Pro Frame Sliders

Puig, who is widely known for their screens, has just released some new frame sliders for most of the current sport bikes on the market. These aren’t your normal ‘nubs’ sticking out from the side of your bike as they are shaped to give more surface area and what some might say a better look.
  • These new frame sliders are made of High Impact nylon which gives strength on impact and while sliding
  • Features a wider surface providing greater capacity to protect the bike
  • An interchangeable rubber end unit helps the rider avoid personal injuries on knee and leg and is available in different colors
  • The sliders are supplied with instructions for an easy and quick assembling process, and they do not require any modification
  • All sliders are black with grey bumpers
  • Each slider has model specific markings, please see multiview for examples

Puig Pro Frame Slider - Not work the $$$

These don't hold up to even a light fall. Fell over during a very slow left turn and the left slider was destroyed. It ripped right off the bolt that was holding it on. Wouldn't have minded if it would have been scuffed up, but now it can't be remounted and I can't buy a replacement - other than buying a complete set. Waste.

WISH I had bought these a month sooner!

I saw these on a friend's bike, and thought they looked great. Much more attractive than just round posts sticking out. And if you do have a spill, these will slide better without 'digging in' or catching on cracks in the pavement and tossing the bike in different directions.

Do not recommend

Purchased for Kaw ER-6N. Installation was easy and they look great. Unfortunately, the bike was dropped during a slow maneuver, at practically a stand still during parking lot practice, the mounting bracket for the slider bent inward and pressed up against the engine resulting in the right side fairing needed to be replaced. The right peg and brake lever broke off the frame, handle bar bent, and various other nicks and scratches. Waste of $145. Didn't protect anything, and that was while not moving.

2009 Fz6r

Fit well. The sides aren't symmetrical, but will still perform as needed. I would recommend these for the Yamaha Fz6r (2009).

2012 Kawasaki Ninja 1000 Frame Sliders

These frame sliders are extremely sturdy as with most other frame sliders. However, the main difference is in the aesthetics and installation. They look great and the installation was a perfect fit. Highly recommended and well worth the value!

Great fit for '12 GSX-R1000

Great fit and good look on my GSX-R1000. No cutting or trimming needed. Complete install in less than 30 minutes if you are good at removing bodywork. Instructions that come with them are a little vague.

Perfect fit

After watching an installation video on YouTube and getting the necessary tools I had no issues installing them in about 10-15 minutes. They provide more surface area so in case you do drop the bike or fall, it seems they will better protect the crucial parts of the bike better rather than the peg like frame sliders. Haven't had any issues with them yet.

don't recommend...

These frame sliders look good, and have a solid weight to them... However, they didn't fit. It was like it wasn't designed for an '08 CBR.. I tried doing everything possible, and there was just no way it will work on my bike... I'd recommend trying something else before spending a lot of money on these sliders and then possibly give you the same problem as myself.

puig frame slider

These sliders require no cutting or drilling as advertised. I think they look great & will be very effective. They look factory. Highly recommend!
