A product that actually works

I own one of these suits and feel that it is the best value that I have ever encountered. The first time I every used it was in a driving 37 degree rain on I-15 over Cajon Pass and it kept me dry and warm. I HIGHLY recommend this product. You can't beat it for the money.

Toasty Warm

The first time I used the suit it was 25 degrees outside with frost everywhere. I had on just a pair of sweats and a T-shirt underneath. I went for a 2 hour ride including some 70MPH highways and never got a breath of cold air inside the suit. If you don't like getting cold on your rides, buy this suit.

Good Deal

Got one for Christmas. It fits fairly well considering I am rather portly. It seems to be designed with riding in mind. Legs are made a little long so it is comfy while mounting the bike. The insulation is fairly thick. I tried it out in 34 degree temp for about seven miles. I got up to 70 MPH and it kept the wind and cold out well. I am pleased... especially at the price.

Love It!!!

I ride to work every day about 30 minutes, in as low as 28 degrees and without a sweatshirt and jeans under the suit, I am nice and comfy. Can't wait for the rain!

Civil Engineer

If you want to stay toasty warm and dry riding in any condition, then buy this suit. I have one and I love it. I know it doesn't get real cold here in SanFran, but I can assure you I would be comfy riding anywhere with this suit on. When you unzip the legs all the way up it is easy to get in and out of even with my big redwing boots. The neck closure can be a bit uncomfortable but the only part of me that gets cold is the exposed skin above the collar and below my helmet. Enjoy!!

the "Blacksmith"

As Texas doesn't get much snow, but lots of cold crummy weather, I ride to work everyday. Temperatures have been as low as 24 degrees and at highway speeds,,,the windchill? I have found this one piece suit to out perform any imagination of staying warm. The looks I get when in the rain and or cold, makes the effort to get in the suit well worth it!

Great value, recommend

Keeps me warm and dry in 20 degrees with a tee-shirt on underneath. Highly recommend, excellent value. One piece is a little awkward but overall zippers, velcro easy to manage - I doubt you'll find better bang for your buck!

Love It

This is the best money I have ever spent. Have made numerous commutes as well as trips down to 25 degrees and never felt the cold. This is as good as it gets.

Firstgear Thermal Suit

It's a great product. I bought one of these for my 25 minute ride to work. I've rode in 35 degree weather with just my work clothes on underneath and I never get cold. I also recently tested it out in a good rain on the way to work and never got wet. It's a good buy and most of all it works.

Superb quality, comfort, functionality

The Highlander is an extremely well designed and constructed suit for riding in moderate to very cold and/or wet weather. Great styling and looks. Short learning curve for getting into/out of the suit quickly and easily. Comfort level while riding is outstanding; padding and armor offer exceptional protection from road incidents, and will provide many miles and years of protection from the elements. Great product, very reasonable price!!

Great suits!

The wife and I both have one of these.I've had mine for over a year and we just got her one.We rode the other week in 32 degree weather and were both warm as toast. I no longer worry about her getting cold when she's off riding her bike.

Thermogear One-Piece Suit - First Gear

I ride to work every day about 25 minutes at 55 to 70 mph, as low as 40 degrees and as high as 65 degrees in a shirt and slacks inside the one piece suit. I am always comfortable. Found out that the sizes are appropriate. I'm 5'10" and 175 lbs.and first ordered a large size thinking I might be wearing additional extra clothing to stay warm. Not so. I ended up selling the suit to a larger co-worker, who thinks the one piece is the only way to ride. I ordered a medium size which has turned out to

This suit is great. It is one of the rare times I feel I've actually gotten all my money's worth and might have even paid more. With lightweight scrubs underneath in 40 degrees at 70, I feel practically no coolness at all. I have not encountered temps cold enough to dare try wearing sweats underneath. Great for rain, great for cold.
