    Great helmet for the money

I had an old Simpson GS3-MX. The FX-39DS is a far better helmet for me in fit, finish and price. I could go on and on about features and comparisons but I'm not. At this price and Motorcycle Superstore's return policy, you can't lose.

    A really great value

I heard they ran a bit large, but I wear an XS, so if that ran too big, I would be out of luck. But the helmet fit true to size and was very comfortable. I have always wanted a visor on a full face street helmet for those afternoons when I have to ride into the sun. The FX39 doesn't buffet or rise at highway speed and won't yank my head around if I look to either side of me. It has an optically correct view through the face shield as well. I like the quick buckle too. Why spend more?

You get what you pay for

Helmet has a weird fit to it...either that or I have a weird head. The fit is nice and snug around face, however, helmet does not come low enough to cover chin. Nice portion of chin is exposed when helmet is worn. Not cool. The inside padding is horrible, super, super thin.

    Love the helmet

Love the helmet. The large seems to be a tiny bit big, but the medium was way too small. The venting is nice with lots of adjustment. Love the chin strap latch, I can take the helmet on and off with gloves on. Overall very happy with the helmet for the price.
