Best helmet for the money

The C3 feels like it is part of your head. It is light and quiet beyond description. The aerodynamics are incredible. You can forget about having your head jerked around by air turbulence. Interior comfort is second to none. Fogging face shields and poor air flow are things of the past. The helmet clasp can be annoying but as you get used to the helmet and begin riding with your chin up the clasp will no longer be an issue. You can’t find a better helmet for the money.

The best!

Nothing bad to say about it, I ride w/ Shoei as well, and no comparison! Schuberth is the best helmet for touring purpose.

The Real Deal

Was concerned it might be all hype but turned out to be the RD. Quiet, compact, and very high quality components. Size is snug but it's supposed to be that way. It has become much more comfortable with use. I'd recommend it to my Mom... top honors. Would be nice to get RR points for the purchase but doesn't qualify for some reason. Whatever... it's a keeper, very nice helmet.

Best helmet ever

This is one pricey mother, but let me tell you what. As currently the owner of 5 helmets this is by far the most comfortable, quietest, and safest feeling helmet I've ever put on my head. Being European myself I have a bit of a round head so this helmet is a perfect fit. All the Harley helmets are made for heads that are egg-shaped; they're unsafe-feeling; and they're loud as heck; the visors fog up at the very least amount of humidity; and the helmet is cold in cold weather. The C3 the only thing that can fog up is the internal sun screen, if it is down during a sunny cold day; the visor never. My only gripes with it are that it is so expensive and that the looks are a bit plain, but that is just my vanity talking. I absolutely, unequivocally, recommend this helmet!!!

Great Helmet

Just got back from a 2K mile road trip up through Montana, Canada and Idaho. This was first long trip with the helmet, and can honestly say it met all expectations. It was quiet, and neutralizes head buffeting with its aerodynamics. The air flow was adequate, but we were not in seriously hot country. It's a sharp looking hat, and fits me very well. I went to a dealer and got properly fitted. No noted "hot spots".

Somethings to be aware of

For the most part this helmet is great, however there are some things that you need to aware of. First it is a tight fitting helmet and takes a bit to "loosen up", second it does not have a "D" ring strap so unless you have a trunk, side bags or a cable, there is no way to use the stock helmet locks on most bikes. Otherwise, it is more quiet than any of my other helmets and the Hi-Viz yellow cannot be missed unless you are blind. The drop down sun shade is one of my favorite features.

The Best

The best communication system made. The reviewers that didn't like the fit BOUGHT THE WRONG SIZE!!! People, don't go buy a helmet without trying it on... If it is tight, go up a size, if that one is tight, go up another size... Don't base a helmet size of one brand to the next, go try them on. We have two of these and LOVE them. Zeke had to go to a 3X before he found one to fit... But they are so light weight on your head. We have the orange ones and get compliments everywhere we go.

Schuberth C3

This has got to be the best helmet that I've ever owned. While pricey, I am warm in the winter. The unit is quiet. I have attached the SRC System, made by Cardo of scala rider. The scala rider, give audio, Gps, iphone calls, music or the radio. Although I havent read all of the specifics Im confident that I can share my old scala rider enhanced helmet with my new SRC helmet. I like the share and the feel. If you can part with the $$ I think it's worth the dough!

Love This Helmet

I have owned this helmet for two seasons now and I absolutely love it. It is light, easy to adjust the features while riding (e.g. visor) and it fits me better than any helmet I have ever owned. There is almost no buffeting or air resistance at high speeds. Also, it is very quiet. As far as I am concerned, it is worth every penny.

features are worth the sticker shock

To keep this as short as possible, this helmet is everything it says it is. Lightweight? YES. Ventilation is pretty amazing, internal sunvisor is a nice plus, and the no-fog is just that. >NO (none, zero)< fog even at 40F in the rain! Pretty quiet, very comfortable. Ratchet chinstrap is another nice plus. From what I have read, ECE22.05 uses different test types & parameters, but most would agree it is the European equivalent (or better) of Snell testing. If you are only going to buy one helmet to wear on day-long rides, IMO, this is it.

Schubert C3

This is an extremely nice helmet, albiet on the high side of the cost spectrum. Fit and finish are excellent and it is very lightweight. It is the quietest helmet I have every worn, yet ambient noise like my engine and other vehicles can be heard. The sun visor is a very nice feature and I use it anytime the sun is shining. I have put over 1000 miles with this helmet so far and have been completely comfortable, even on a long distance runs. A point for those considering the Schubert C3. It fits very snug but breaks in quickly. The fit is probably best for an average shape head, and those with a longer oval might find hotspots in the front. If you have the budget for a helmet like this, then get it now.

Top Quality

This helmet is top quality. Fit is a bit tight up front for me but that is loosening up. Sound level is good, but not as good as I hoped, so I still use ear plugs. All the moving parts work very well--visor is smooth and locks in place nicely. Sun visor is nice and smooth too. The flip up locks in place and does not slip or fall like my old Schuberth would. All in all, if it fits your head, and you can pay the price go for it.

Expensive - but worth every cent

Fit is perfect for my head. It was a little tight for the first few rides, but now it's just right. Chin strap works great and doesn't bother me at all. Very quiet and light weight. Works will with my glasses: helmet first or glasses first. I got the hi-viz yellow and my only concern is that after just a few days riding the color is already starting to show some sun-fade. BOTTOM LINE: As long as the color holds up this is the best helmet I've ever had.
