bent on the first day

lifting my KDX200 it bent the first day. it still works but the bike leans over to the side pretty heavily. So now I have to watch where I put the thing.. for example I don't want it leaning towards my truck or other bikes if it falls. Easy to put together.

Unable to Assemble

Upon unboxing the stand, a bolt, a washer, and a nut fell out of the crevices of the box. They weren't attached to anything or stored in a bag. All of the bolts were fully threaded. No instructions or extra information came. It would have been a breeze to put together, except for a bolt hole going 90 degrees in the opposite direction. Where the brackets of the lift/pedal attach to the base, there is a small piece of metal that sticks out for the bolt to go through. Instead of the bolt going through parallel to the other bolts and acting as a hinge it went in the opposite direction. There was no way for the stand to function so I immediately returned it. Other than that, the stand looked perfectly fine.

Do Not Recommend. Poor Quality.

Putting the stand together, I noticed it did not come with good hardware. The bolts were all fully threaded, even for the rotating joints. Also, some of the joints were out of tolerance and in order to use the bolts supplied you had to draw them up, bending it into place to get the lock nuts to seat. On first use, to do normal maintenance on my CRF450R, the base collapsed to the point it was going to dump the bike.

Light bikes only

Well enough built for the money if you will be using it for 250 class bikes or smaller. Maybe it will work for a 450 size bike. However the stand suffered a major structural failure the first time I lifted my XR600R. The max claimed weight limit for this stand is 450 lbs, my bike is about 312 lbs dressed, so I guess thats what I get for being cheap. Bottom line, spend the extra 100 or so bucks and get something that will last.

Garbage Don't waste your money

Bent and was useless the first time I used it to lift a YZ250 two stroke. Don't waste your money on this piece of crap!

Junk!!

This stand was junk. Used it on my EXC 350 and the base bent on the first use. Tried it a 2nd time and the bike fell over. I weigh 150 Lbs and it was very difficult to generate enough down force to even lift the bike. Returned the product immediately. Bought a different stand from Motorcycle Superstore which works beautifully- the Motosport P-12 Lift Stand. Spend the extra money and get this one.

Save your money!

Same thing happened to me as others. First time out of box lifting my TTR230 and it bent the base which set the bike at about an 80° angle. Cheap!

Cheap piece of crap

Took it out of the box, assembled it and stuck it under my bike. Lifted it up and the thing bent at the base. Save yourself the money.

Junk!

This stand scares me. I don't know how its received all these great reviews, but if you see this one keep reading. The first time I kicked the stand up the rubber foot piece fell off... ok glue it back on. Second lift and a corner of the rubber piece falls off. Now that I've just let it sit on the stand in the garage its leaning hard to one side, I'm worried its going to fall over. I guess you get what you pay for.

Junk

Failed within a month. Had it up on a table and noticed the stand starting to list so I got the wheels on and dropped the bike off the table. First time I lifted it on the ground the weld broke and the base buckled. You get what you pay for, super cheap materials. Its not like my KX250 2cycle is heavy either, not even 200 dry...

Bought stand at steal of the day price, but on 2nd lift of a KTM 200 stand buckled at the base. The lift arm was now bent at a 10 degree angle, METAL IS WAY TOO THIN!!!!! Motorcycle Superstore took it right back for full refund.

Poor Quality

I got this for my 2003 Kawasaki KX250. In less than 1 month of use the metal began to cave in and bend sideways. No longer can the stand support my dirt bike without falling over to the side. It is a great price though.

Cheap Metal!!

I saw a customer review about how cheap this product was and that it bends when applying weight. Well I didn't really want to trust one bad review due to the different bikes we might have or that he might of got a dysfunctional product that wasn't correctly made in the factory. So I bought it anyway and was pretty excited when it arrived. It was easy to setup and slid under the bike. When I lifted my bike (Honda XR400r - about 277 pounds (when it says it can lift 450 pounds easily) ) it slowly started to lean over a couple of minutes. The middle support beam was caving in on itself. I have only had it for 2 days and only lifted it up 2 times to wash my bike or for maintenance. I don't leave my bike on it over night or for long periods of time. I just wasted $59 dollars for this stand. Please don't make the mistake I did! DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!

Not that good

This product works, but without reinforcement it will not handle a 250lb bike!

This is a cheapo stand

This stand does not work particularly well. It goes up ok but the way the mechanism works it won't go down easily. In general it's rather cheesy and cheaply made. I would not recommend this stand.
