    Worth the Money

I own a pair of water proof over pants, but in the summer wanted to have a pair of jeans that looked good and breathed, These pants are super comfy, look great and repel the wind nicely. Worth the money, plus they make you look like a true Ryder.

Finally kevlar jeans I can wear to work

These are great for commuting. They look like regular jeans and are basic and neat--not the usual "torn" or embroidered stuff you typically get in kevlar pants. They are also not baggy at all, yet comfortable on the bike. I only have one gripe with them: the knee area should have armor pockets. The way things are these jeans might save your skin in a crash, but you'll probably end up with busted knees anyway.

    Size is wrong

Make sure you order one size up. I normally wear 33" jeans but the 34" Logics were ridiculously tight on me. I replaced with 36" and they fit perfectly. This sizing issue seems be the norm with Alpinestars products. Must be a European thing. Overall I'm very happy with these. I've tried and returned probably 5-6 different pairs both from Alpinestars and other brands until I found the Logic, and these are finally what I was looking for.

Cant wear this if you have beer gut...

For riding pants, yeah no flap at all. It's nice like you could go to work and play after. But if you don't like tight, and prefer baggy this is not for you.

Read the reviews, I should have

These fit ridiculously tight. I normally wear a 34, but can hardly squeeze into them. I'm going to have to go to a local shop to find the right size for me, but I'm thinking a 38 may be the answer. They look very well made, I cannot wear them though. I'm going to try out the return process next...

Jeans are ok only if they would fit

After I read reviews here I ordered 2 sizes up from what I normally wear. And they were very tight on the waist and super long on the legs. I normally wear 34x32. I ordered 36 and they just off in all departments. Jeans itself are comfortable and not very heavy.

    Nice Jeans, But

These are very nice pants as jeans, but for motorcycle use: - Sizing runs tight, especially in riding position. - Knee Kevlar is not wrap around and tends to ride on the middle of the knee. - fits nicely over Sidi boots, with plenty of length. - Denim is about as thick as well worn pair of Levi's. - too tight for any additional armor (A* bionic knee or armored under wear). ended up returning :(

These arn't the Droids you are looking for!

The denim in these pants is very thin and light weight. The Kevlar is basically non-existent, it's as thin and sheer as your tidy whitey's. You can stretch it with your hand and see right through it. I highly doubt that this material is Kevlar. It looks and acts a lot more like cotton. I am keeping the Shift lowdown street jeans and sending back these Alpinestars.
