Features:
  • CE Approved Stryker Back Armor
  • D3O® Breathable back insert, with custom molded icon geometry
  • Articulating injection molded back armor with air flow channels
  • Injection molded chest plate with integrated air intakes
  • Vented bio foam and air mesh chassis
  • Hydra dry moisture wicking liner
  • Highly adjustable waist and shoulder straps
  • Low-profile design fits under most jackets
  • Women specific fit

D3O® Intelligent Shock Absorption™ is a patented, shock absorbing material, engineered with Intelligent Molecules that flow with you as you move, but lock together on shock to absorb the impact energy. D3O® is rate sensitive, meaning that when moved slowly, the molecules flow freely, making it soft and flexible. At high speeds however–like in an impact–the molecules lock together, making the material an excellent shock absorber. The whole process occurs instantly, returns to its original state as soon as the impact is over, and is repeatable. These qualities make it perfect for any application where you need total freedom of movement and excellent shock absorption. D3O™ is also extremely low profile, meaning it integrates seamlessly into garments, so neither style nor function is compromised.

I don't agree with the post above mine

You have to be extremely TOP HEAVY or just really obese to not be able to fit into this vest. I am petite but nowhere near the weight doctors suggest I should be for my height. That being said I STILL can fit the Small/Medium because it has velcro sides that can be adjusted. Unless a woman has a waist above 46 inches, this vest will fit.

Great vest

This vest is a good choice if you want some protection while cruising around town or not out being too aggressive. The fit, colors, and quality are good. I was hesitant about sizing after reading some of the reviews about Icon being made towards smaller or teen riders. However, after having seeing many "real women" in the vest in pictures online I went for it. I am a size 18 and the L/XL vest fits me just fine and doesn't restrict me range of motion at all.

Very good product

Bought this for wife, she is 5'-3" and 107 lbs., thin waist (C/D). Fits better than expected, the Velcro "patches" that hold together the sides give a LOT of adjustment. She has a bit of slack in the waist but not a lot. The back protection is hefty, like a lobster tail. There is chest protection but less than a full dirt chest protector. The sides are a bit meatier than her riding jacket had.

Good Summer Vest

I wanted something that would protect my spine without having to wear a jacket in the 100 degree Texas heat. This vest does just that. I’m 5”3’, 105lbs and the small is a little too big for me. The sides don’t tighten enough so I cut a little bit of the sides off to make it a little tighter. The spine protection hits just right, not too low so that it gets in the way while I’m riding. It does get a little hot while being idle, but then again it’s 100 degrees out, everything gets hot.

Fits only slender girls

This Vest probably won't fit most big women.

The vest I got was the sm./med. but it's still too big! I am a small girl, The sides only go so small. Not small enough for me. I will still wear it!

Women's Stryker Vest - S/M

The velcro sides don't completely pull as snug as they should but when I wear it with my hoodie or textile the sides are no longer an issue. This vest however, is good if you don't feel like wearing a jacket but need the protection. I wish these companies can be more creative with their colors for women, I'm a bit tired of the pink esp. when they don't make the elbow & shin guards in matching colors, as if women don't have knees & elbows that need protection. WOMEN LIKE TO MATCH FELLAS!

Could be smaller

I am 5'2" and I got the S/M. It was a little big on me. The shoulders seemed too wide and overall it just did not feel comfortable. When I would sit the vest would ride up. Quality seemed great. Icon needs to make more sizes.

Sized small

Love the idea, but the execution leaves me wanting something else. This is not sized for a woman with any significant curves -- the L/XL did not fit me. Once again, Icon serves the junior sized women's market -- not someone who regularly shops in women's sizes. I could see where, over time, the velcro adjusters would simply wear out, and the flatness of the front piece made me wonder if this is just the men's version made with pink.
