So good!

Having read the reviews I wasn't sure if this would end up replacing my pads in my riding pants or actually be used under my jeans as intended. They are so good you won't feel safe in your old pads that came with what ever pants you own. These are serious protection. As for fitting under jeans, you need a relaxed jean. They fit too snug to be comfy in my AE Straight jeans 32W-34L but I can actually get them in there. They are more suited to a dress pant or a Chino when you don't have the ability to slip out of your riding pants into some work clothes. I can't imagine anything protecting better than these, spend the money!

Great Protection

I like the separate guards compared built into the pants. These got a little getting used to, but wasn't long at all before I didn't even notice they were there. They add great protection for your knee and shin. Been on long rides, stopped and eatin at places, walked around, and these did cause any issues. Must wear under loose pants, tight pants will not work. Would recommend these to anyone.

These things are awesome!

Normally have baggy riding pants to wear over my work pants... Got these to use when it's too hot for my riding pants and couldn't ask for a better solution. Fit great and seem to have a great amount of protection.

Best knee & shin protection

These are seriously the best knee and shin protection guards I've tried. I find them tight under pants and especially with my chaps however I've been wearing them over all my pants and even my chaps. When I get wherever I'm going I just quickly unstrap them and store in my bag . Better than having to eat lunch with knee pads under my jeans that I can't take off without removing my boots. These are so much more convenient wearing them on the outside. Really solid guard and comfortable.

Nice Protection

I bought these knee protectors to wear underneath my pants. Great fit The only concern I had was that the top straps rubbed a little bit behind my knees. The bottom strap was ok on my socks. So I came up with a solution to that problem, I got 2 old socks and cut the top half off (3" long) and put the straps through the socks. This worked great, no more rubbing.

excellent protection for the price

Yes, these are a little bit pricey, but knee guards is something you must wear if you only ride around in a pair of jeans. These are excellent quality, there's no other product that even comes close to these on the market today. Icon recommends wearing them underneath your pants but they are way too big to do this. Instead, just wear them over your jeans, which is easier to take them off when you reach your destination. Overall, very satisfied, I wear them wherever I ride.

Pretty Good Knee Guard

First of all, these armor is a nice fit, I wear them under jeans, and, sometimes I forget I am even wearing them. Nice fit, well covered and bend at the knee for a ultimate protection. I used to have others and these are ten times better... Buy them, you won't regret it.

Icon Knee/Shin Guards

Great product for the money, does fit underneath pants if they aren't skinny pants. The straps however can cause redness on the skin if worn underneath pants from rubbing on you but I wear them on the outside so it doesn't bother me. Straps are big enough for anyone since they are cut to length. Only thing I wish this had was a third strap for the knee area so that's held down as well.

Great protection

Awesome knee guards but I wish there were one more strap on top above the knee. Not that they don't work without a strap above the knee, it's just that when your knees are in riding position the top is kind of flimsy. Definitely not a deal breaker though. Very good protection

Great fit

I really like these but would like if they had more straps to better secure them. They fit under my leathers and will offer more protection.

Not too bad

After suffering from a minor knee injury in an accident and countless knee bangs from years of skating, I figured I'd pick these up. They kinda dog my shins and felt weird on the knee at first but after a few rides the inside kind of adjusts to your knees. Also has 5-6 cutting areas along the strap so you can cut them to your size. Even if you're not seriously into MX supermoto, these or knee padded pants are a good investment, but if you get these you dont have to worry about clean jeans :). Also wish there was a strap over the knee, but there's only 2 on the calf, makes it a little loose on the knee.

Great protection

These kneepads have a great protection from the knee to shin area. They're comfortable to wear, although the Velcro strap on the back of the legs does cause a little discomfort. Very light. Only major complaint is that they were to bulky for me to ride under my jeans. But if you wear motorcycle denim jeans you should be ok as they are a more relaxed fit. I wear a dress pant/shirt to work so I commute with these on over my dress pants. Great looking too!

Good Protection, funky straps

Overall, I really like these. They're comfortable and they seem to fit with my Alpinestars boots pretty well. However, the straps seem backwards--the strap behind the knee is longer than the strap that goes around my calf. My calf is much bigger around than my knee, and I wind up with only the last 'section' of the calf strap Velcro attached. I've got huge calves (per my wife), and the strap still works, so maybe only a few people will be affected by this.

Great protection, straps have issues but I found a workaround...

These knee/shin guards offer better coverage/protection than most built in knee armour on pants. As others have mentioned the straps have some issues. I wear a small towel under each one at the back. Now I can tighten them nicely so they will not move and I have no comfort issues whatsover with the straps irritating my calfs.

Glad I Bought Them

They're great and have a lot of protection. Not really any complaints about these, they fit under my pants quite well. As long as your pants are not too tight that is. These really add some confidence while I ride and I feel absolutely naked if I don't have them on. My only small gripe is that the Velcro straps can sometimes irritate the back of my calves if i'm standing or in upright position. But then again they're made for riding, not walking in, and when you’re riding with them, you forget that you even have them on and they feel great. Lots of airflow too so it doesn't make you feel hot at all. They look mean and I would definitely recommend!
