Road 3

After replacing the second set of Michelin Road 2's on my bike, I went with the Michelin Road 3's only to compare the handling in wet weather and the tread life. You won't probably believe this, but I got 10,000 miles on the Road 2's and I hope to get that and maybe more with the 3's. With both of these tires, I feel like I am glued to the road in corners and on the straight away. btw....I ride rather aggressively on a Honda Interceptor in all weather conditions all year around. Great tires, and great value for the dollar when you look at the mileage, comfort and most importantly the dependability.

Amazing

Completely different riding experience once I changed my tires. Feels like I practically stick to the road. Amazing. Takes a second to warm up but then they're good to go. I don't know how long they're going to last but from what I've heard they should be good for at least a couple thousand miles, so I'm looking forward to that. Could not be happier with my new tires. Great deal too, since I got a complete set for under $300. =) very satisfied with my purchase.

Great Tire Good replacement for Road 2

I have run Continental Road/Sport attacks, Pilot Race, Pilot Powers, and the Road 2 on my Speed Triple 1050. This tire is great. I have enormous confidence that they will stick no matter what my lean angle wet or dry. So far I have 3,000 miles and almost no wear. I think that they stick just as well as the Pilot Powers but wear so much better. If I was running Pilot Race or Powers I would have already changed them by now. This is even better than the Road 2 which I got 8,500 miles out of. Great in rain or in the dry.

Great first set of new tires.

I can't speak for a lot of people who have gone through several sets of tires as this set is my first new pair, but I will tell you it is like riding a brand new bike. My 08 CBR600RR came with a bald front Dunlop which maid my cornering and traction pretty bad. These tires stick to the road so well that when I corner, it seems the bike does it for me! They look great as well, with the new water grooves. I love these tires and am going to stick with these as long as I can. I only have roughly 1000 miles on them so far, if that.

Totally Changed My FZ6

The Michelin Pilot Road 3 rear tire has forever changed my FZ6 into a stable riding machine in strong side winds. The OEM Bridgestone’s that came on the bike felt like I was being pushed around all over the place. True to form these Michelin motorcycle tires have turned my FZ6 into a stable fun bike to ride. They have turned disappointment into happiness.

New Sport Touring Tires

I bought a rear tire for my Suzuki DL650 V-Strom. It had the original dual sport tires on it, but I use it exclusively on the street, so I wanted to get a dual compound sport touring tire. This one had great ratings, and it has been great so far, even though I haven't had it for long. Looking forward to using it this summer.

The best ever

I put these on my BMW R1150RT and I thought I had a new bike. Handles like a heavy sport bike. I have had bikes for over 40 years and never felt the difference like going with these tires. They just make the bike handle at a whole new level. My guess is that anyone trying these out will never go back to another style or brand (at least on a sport tourer that is a bit oriented to the tour side). since I have recently put them on, I can't speak to the tread life but knowing how they are made, it has to be excellent.

Improved version

Updated version of the Pilot Road 2, it performs even better in the rain. Expect to get the same great tread life.

Great Tire

I have 5000 miles on the rear showing almost zero wear in the middle; ZX14. 190/50 handles well; 110 MPH on the street (legally) @ max lean. The PR3 soft sides are great in the corners combined with a Pilot Power 2CT front. Wet traction is good also. Great tire!!

Michelin PR3

I have had a chance to ride them dry and ride during a pretty tough rain storm. I have yet to feel any slip from these tires while cornering wet and dry, also these babies don't follow any ruts or cracks in the road; it just simply glides over them. They roll in and out of turns as fast as you want and provide stellar performance on straight aways as well. I ride a 2005 BMW K1200S and while the bike itself is very capable these tires just enhances the performance.

3800 miles and counting

I commute 50 miles one way in all weather. The stock tires had a flat spot after about 800 miles and were to the wear bars at 3500 miles. After 3800+ miles I'm loving these tires. The front still looks like new and the back is just now showing some wear. Traction has been a non-issue in all conditions, looks like I should get 8-12000 miles out of them. Will buy again.

Perfect sport touring tire

Bought them and went on a 2,800 mile trip to Nova Scotia. First two days in pouring rain. Best tire I ever owned in this class for wear and wet and dry traction, hands down.

Excellent Tires!

88 Honda CBR1000. Replaced Bridgestone BT45’s. They lasted 5500 miles and slipped in the rain and lacked confidence pushing it over in all conditions. The Road 3 tires have unbelievable rain traction! Of course I ride more conservatively in the rain, but I've yet to break them loose when wet! Cornering is better by far. Increased the rear size to 150/70R17 from the 140/70R17 that was on it. Only have 2k miles so far so my mileage rating is just optimism. Very satisfied.
