Great Tire

I have put about 200 miles on the tire and today about 150 of those miles. As in my review of the Pilot 3 rear tire the same goes for the Pilot 3 front tire. It has made my FZ6 a pleasure to ride in high wind conditions. Before the Michelin tires I was being blow all over the road and sometimes into the next lane. Today the spring winds were constant at 20 plus mph with gusts over 30 mph. The motorcycle was rock solid in the cross winds whereas the OEM Bridgestone’s I would have been knocked around holding on for dear life. I thought it was the motorcycle but to my pleasure it was the tires. The rode I took today had a series of hard right and left 40 mile an hour turns I easily came into at 60 mph accelerating into the apex of the turn exiting over 70 mph and could have rode harder but still gun shy of the Bridgestone's being moved around by the wind. The Michelin’s held the motorcycle glued to the road.

The best

In 40+ years of riding I have been on a lot of tires. These are far above anything else I have experienced. Superb in every respect.

Improved version

Updated version of the Pilot Road 2, it performs even better in the rain. Expect to get the same great tread life.

Best

I bought these tires after reading many reviews on the net and glad I did. They grip the road far better than any other tire I’ve used.

Transformed my bikes handling!

Like others have said... these are awesome tires. They have totally transformed the handling and "sport" ability of my FJR. It makes my bike feel significantly lighter when cornering on the twisty roads. As far as wet traction and tread life... I will have to wait and see.

Great tire

Replaced my Bridgestone Batlax front tire with this. (First time I had a front tire wear out before the rear). The day I left the installer the road was wet. Night and day difference between going there and returning with the new tire on. Grip in the wet is fantastic.

Michelin PR3

I have had a chance to ride them dry and ride during a pretty tough rain storm. I have yet to feel any slip from these tires while cornering wet and dry, also these babies don't follow any ruts or cracks in the road; it just simply glides over them. They roll in and out of turns as fast as you want and provide stellar performance on straight aways as well. I ride a 2005 BMW K1200S and while the bike itself is very capable these tires just enhances the performance.

Superb In Every Way

This by far and away the finest set of tires I have ever experienced on my Speed Triple. Exudes confidence when cornering and surefooted stability in the wet. My bike rides sportier than the Dunlops I had previously and begs me to lean to the extreme any chance I get. The best upgrade anyone could make to their ride.

Sticky, smooth, and superb!

Bought the front/rear combo of these tires - thought I had a new bike. On a 2004 Yamaha FZ1 these things transformed the bike from the original Bridgestones. Just amazing a tire can make such a difference.

Pilot Road 3

I have a great sense of security with these Michelin Pilot Road 3, front and rear, between me and the roadway while I'm riding in all types of weather and road conditions. The responsiveness with these new skins is incredible; my BMW r1100rt seems to run itself with these tires, I'm just along for the ride. I can't believe how the bike seems to turn itself; almost as if it knows intuitively the way to go.

Much better than stock tire

I have 09 Ninja 650R. The stock lasted around 8kmi, when both developed VERY wide center flat surface, and were wondering around the road. I bought a Pilot Road 2- rear and 3-front. The bike is now VERY stable, I can point it EXACTLY where I want and feel more confident on sharp turns with more lean. The stock rear tire slipped a few times; the new one feels more stable, so far after 1000mi not a single sleep... Also the overall feeling is that my bike rides softer now

Holds the road

Superb tire, put a little over 600 miles on the RP3 in the last 3 weeks. Great addition to the handling abilities of the BMW R1100RS. It does not matter if it is sunshine or rain this tire knows how to adhere to the road. Great buy.

Stick it

I feel like my bmw 1150RT went from a sport touring into a cornering machine all with one little adjustment, these tires. Great. I have mainly been riding them back and forth to work with only occasional joy riding, but they definitely give you control. Great choice for my bike.

Excellent Tires!

88 Honda CBR1000. Replaced Bridgestone BT45’s. They lasted 5500 miles and slipped in the rain and lacked confidence pushing it over in all conditions. The Road 3 tires have unbelievable rain traction! Of course I ride more conservatively in the rain, but I've yet to break them loose when wet! Cornering is better by far. Increased the rear size to 150/70R17 from the 140/70R17 that was on it. Only have 2k miles so far so my mileage rating is just optimism. Very satisfied.
