Product Information

Fly Street FL1 Gloves

Its short cuff and perforated goat leather definitely brands it as a summer only glove but the Fly FL1 also has quite a bit of protection as well. The hard knuckle armor is the most obvious yet the real backbone of the FL1 is the multiple layers of reinforcements along the fingers and palm. And while there is nothing wrong with cowhide, the goatskin construction certainly helps with comfort and feel.

  • Perforated leather
  • External outseam design and pre-curved fingers

Bad Fit

Bought a medium and they are tight on my hand but the fingers are like a 1/2 inch too long. Might be my hand but i never had a glove that the fingers were this off. Cant rate the rest of the glove can't use them.

Good purchase!

I highly recommend these gloves. They are a little tight at first but you just have to break them in. They are extremely comfortable and do a good job keeping your hands cool. It's not a bad glove when it's cold out either. I ran a piece of electrical tape across the knuckle vents to keep out too much air in the winter. Highly recommended.

Great Gloves

I got them for a great price and even if not, what a value. They have the features that many gloves of a higher price-point contain. Fitment is good, quality and style is spot on! Nice and tough but well-fitting glove. While I don't plan on crash testing them, I don't have any doubts that they would be able to handle a tumble.

MP3

These gloves are awesome. Great protection and excellent design. I used to wear dirt bike gloves because I can get into my pocket easily to work my music of my MP3 but these work great for that as well. Stitching is of the highest quality as well as there are no signs of wear and this is my 3rd season with these gloves. Definitely recommend these for any everyday rider.

Not too bad

The gloves were great for quite a while, but after submitting them to the Auburn, Alabama fall, winter, and current summer they are going into the abyss. The velcro on the gloves is nonexistent, and the right hand glove where the thumb and forefinger gap are stitched together have torn apart. The glove was great while it lasted, perhaps I got a defective set.

Way to tight for large

Just to tight for a large. The finger size seems inconsistent. Feel like its going to break my middle finger getting these off. I wouldn't buy these without trying them on.

terrible fit

The size difference in the right to the left is more than a size, even though they both say large. The Right was so tight it cut off the circulation in my hand.

Don't follow hand sizing chart

I'm usually a medium glove and used their hand sizing chart. I should have ordered a medium. The large is a bit big for my fingers. Also, the finish of the product seems like it'll fall apart. There's string coming out at the fingers and I hope it doesn't rip soon. Otherwise, the look is nice, the feel is good minus the thread coming out at the thumb and pointer. I've only used it a few rides.

Great Gloves!

I read all the reviews before I bought these and they were all right! They fit great! The only thing that you have to get used to is the huge knuckle protector but otherwise they feel very light. It took me three tries to finally find a good glove and all I can say is that im glad I found it!

Good for cruising

The gloves fit well and wear well. Cool design, durable and breathable. Just wish they came in more colors. Overall a great riding glove.

Fly, who knew?

Not a bad glove, only had for a month so about 500 miles thus far. WOW goat skin is supple! I ask everyone to touch my gloves because they are so nice (also learned that goat skin is lighter and more durable than cow hide according to the internet). They are fairly warm in the hot weather and the vents don't do too much. If you go to Fly's site they have a glove fit guide that you can print out- ordered xl returned for large.

Awesome Gloves

I tried stuff on for weeks when I first started riding. Two pairs of gloves caught my eye, these and some Cortech gloves. These won out. I am extremely picky about gloves, always have been. The fit is a little tight, and I feel like they have not stretched out much at all for being leather... however I have only had them a month (a month full of rain too) so I will give them some more time before I pass total judgment on that. Even then, they are comfortable. I got a medium which is pretty typical of what I wear in a glove (alpine stars I needed a large). Wouldn't trade these for any other gloves. Love 'em!
