    Oval Head Dandy

This is my first full-face helmet. It's great. My head is oval-shaped. With previous standard, round helmets, I'd get forehead pain after an hour in the saddle. Not the case with this helmet. Its very comfortable, no forehead hotspot, great ventilation and noise reduction, very comfortable, NO FOGGING, no problem wearing sunglasses. The sizing is good, 2XL fit like a 2XL. Compared to other high-end oval-shaped helmets, this one is a great buy and I highly recommend it.

    Love it

Best helmet I ever owned. Often when I buy a new helmet I have to peel back the forehead lining and hammer down the hard foam to accommodate my Star Trek alien forehead. Light, quiet and deadly looking. Well worth the money. Fogs up a bit at red lights. Reviewer advice to buy a size up on this helmet turned out to not be true for me.

    Amazing Helmet

I love this helmet, it is a high quality helmet that is only made better with he transition lens. Comfortable fabric on the inside, great venting, and the lens feels secure when in the up or down position.

    Not for long oval heads.

Really cool looking helmet with great features and the transition lens is an awesome concept, but the helmet hurt like crazy. If you have a long oval head, you may want to reconsider. I now wear a Signet Q and am happy.

    Nice Helmet !

Seems quite well made and quieter than my RF1000 and much more than my X1100 Shoei's. They are a PERFECT fit for me and this RS-1 is close. I use an L in Shoei and the L in the RS-1 is too tight. Goes on okay but I get a general headache after about 1 hour. I ordered an XL and it is fine but slightly looser (still okay) than either Shoei. The only complaint is the D-rings seem more fiddly than other helmets I've had. Tough to get it hooked up with gloves. Pretty quiet and nice airflow.

    Great, Awesome, Superb Helmet

I was about to bite the bullet and spend the $700+ on the Schuberth S2. It's a good thing I didn’t; I am loving the RS-1. Its super quiet and I can hear myself think when on my loud S2R. Looking forward to taking it on its first tour this upcoming weekend.

    Nice helmet

I wear a Large in Shoei and the RS-1 is slightly too small for me. Felt good all-around except for being too tight. Quieter than my Shoei X11 or RS1000. Shield is VERY easy to take off and put on. Seems like a nicely made helmet all around and well worth the money.

This helmet fits well, and allows for glasses. Except at an absolute standstill the airflow keeps the helmet cool and my glasses are fog free. It is noisy, though I found it less noisy with all the vents open. I definitely feel the drag when I turn my head to the side, wish that affected my head less dramatically.

    GREAT Helmet!!

Fit is very comfortable and headliner is excellent for ventilation and moisture. Weight is perfect, balanced. Angle of attack for airflow is right where I want it, riding a 2012 CBR 1000RR.

    Sick Helmet

Looks amazing fit and finish is top of the line. First helmet I received had a small crack on the back wind diffuser but got that one exchanged for a new one. The sizing runs a lot smaller than the Bell Arrow, not sure of why, but I wear a Small in the Arrow and that is even slightly large on me, whereas on the RS-1 I wear a Medium and it fits quite snug.

    Impressed

This is my first motorcycle helmet, and I'm very pleased I went with the Bell RS-1. Living in Phoenix, temps can easily get over 110, but the RS-1 does a good job of flowing air through the helmet. With that said, it is a bit noisy with all the vents open. The lining is awesome. Very soft, very comfortable. Better than any other helmet I've tried on. Overall it feels very high quality and very well made. I picked it up for $315 with a 10% off coupon, and I think it's worth every penny.

    great helmet

Great helmet! Fits beautifully, not for the round head though. If your head is oval shaped, this is the helmet for you. Super quiet, good air flow on the face. The air flow on the top of the head is not that great, I think it has something to do with the liner covering the holes. I am contemplating on cutting a slot in it. The appearance of the helmet is just sick. Overall very impressed. A high quality product!

    disappointed in some features

Awesome helmet but my biggest complaint is air flow. 1) Somewhere an internal vent blows air directly into my eyes. What's the point if it's not protecting my eyes from wind? Maybe protection? 2) Drive through a swarm of gnats or behind a semi and those vents now become debris rocket launchers. Recently rode 4 hours to WV and had to stop 3 times for getting small bugs or sand shot in my eyes while riding with the shield down. Only way to prevent these problems is close vents = Worthless.

    Excellent lid for 350 bucks

I was going to a track so I wanted a new helmet looks good in matte black. I was tight in Shoei Med I am tight in Bell Large, these are small fitting for sure Interior of this helmet blew me away. Good spacing around the ears. Material is like a thick suede, very nice! The shield stayed clear and fog free. easy to pop open and close, very "positive" feeling Very quiet. Light! Good Ventilation three ports on the front side, easy to operate with gloves.

    Fantastic Helmet

This is one very comfortable helmet with great airflow. The noise at 90mph was at a minimum did not bounce around do to the speed. The transition Solfx photochromic shield works wonderfully with this helmet as well and I recommend it as well.
