2nd Arai that I have owned!

I replaced my Signet GTR with the Profile. The fit is very similar to the Signet, however, I do not get the red spot on my forehead anymore with the Profile. It came with huge cheek pads that I replaced with 12mm. Probably could have used 15mm cheek pads, but the 15mm I had in my Signet GTR were still tight against my cheeks. I have heard from a good source that Arai is dropping the Profile line and going back to the Signet line. Highly recommend Arai.

    U betcha

Lightweight, well ventilated, quiet and a good shape - who has a "round" head anyway? Last Arai was good for past 10 years. If I use this one for the next decade that's roughly a buck a week. Note - Motorcycle Superstore's great to work with, measure your head, place your order if it isn't right send it back an re-order you'll be glad you did.

Great Helmet (Now have 4 Arai's)

I've been riding bikes since 1967 and my 4 Arai's are the most comfortable and best fitting. Actually, haven't even worn my new White Diamond color yet.

    Arai Profile

Replaced an Arai Signet with the Profile after trying other helmets for a long oval head shape. Profile is not much different from the Signet but I don't care much for the removable liner along the top of my forehead, venting is better, best part was a closeout price of $300.

    2011 Arai Profile

Perfect fit for my head; light and comfortable enough to wear for hours, and quieter than my previous Arai.

Great Fit (long shape / oval head)

This helmet is great for those like myself that find it hard to find a good fitting helmet. I do not have the ideal perfectly round head and in most average helmets I get "pressure spots" on the forehead and sometimes the back of the head. Well this helmet fits GREAT! I recommend it on fit and comfort alone! It does get a little foggy at times ....usually when I come to a stop but I just flip the face shield up and it goes right away. Then I flip it back down when I take back off. The fogging up is why I gave it a 4 on features...and I gave it a 4 on price because let's face it...this is a very expensive helmet...hopefully it will last at least 10 years...I have currently owned it for 6 months now.

The old adage you get what you pay for, holds true for this helmet. I have tried other makes of helmets but when it is all said Arai makes a great helmet.

    Arai Profile Helmet- Size XXXL

Upon trying on the helmet I found that it was a bit too small for my XXXL cranium. Here I was looking forward to getting a premium helmet with the features I want, that actually fit. In my size that is not easy to do. I guess it's back to HJC for me. But I'd rather have something made from fiberglass or some other composite like kevlar or carbon fiber.

    Arai Profile Helmet

The Arai Profile helmet has the best fit of any helmet I have owned or tried. There are no pressure spots from the helmet on my long oval head shape. The original 30mm cheek pads pressed so much on my cheeks that I could not comfortably close my mouth when wearing the helmet and riding. I replace them with 25mm pads and that solved the problem. This helmet is much quieter than my previous helmet except when the top vents are open. I am getting used to the smaller face shield opening with slightly less peripheral vision. And I am not sure I like the face shield latch and infinite opening without fixed position stops. I would buy another Arai Profile without question if I ever need another.

    Arai Profile

I've been riding motorcycles for quite a while (Started in 1962.) And have tried a lot of different bikes and have used a lot of types of gear. I took a break from street riding for a few years and recently bought a street bike. My old Bell was just a little too old to trust and began my search for a new lid. I tried AGV's, Bell's and a few lesser grades. My main problem is that my head is longer than it is wide and I've always had problems with fit. I had heard that Arai had come out with a new helmet that fit heads like mine. Amazingly when I put the helmet it actually fit as advertised. I was a little hesitant to spend $450 for a lid. Then, I questioned what is my head/face worth? While I might not be the prettiest guy around; but it's all I have and I'd like to keep it as is. If you want a high quality helmet that is both comfortable and provides great protection, take a look at an Arai Profile - you won't be sorry.
