Klock Werks Flare Windshield

Klock Werks Flare Windshields are wind tunnel designed and tested to give you maximum protections and stabilization. The "hips" on this Klock Werks Windshield provide added downforce, while the flip at the tip directs air over the rider to help eliminate the swirl of air found in front of the rider on standard windshields. Klock Werks windshields let you ride longer, safer, and more comfortably

  • Klock Werks Windshields are manufactured using Lexan and Polycarbonate with FMR hard coating to create custom-molded designs with unmatched durability
  • All Klock Werks Windshields are predrilled for easy mounting using stock windshield hardware
  • Klock Werks Windshields are made in the USA
Note: Shorter riders may not be suitable for the black version as it’s an opaque material.

KLOCKWERKS 12" FLARE WINDSHIELD

Best on the market, cuts through turbulent air from an 18 wheeler. Plants the front end in the turns. Looks great and diverts water as well in the rain.

Best on the market

I have had 6 different windshields. The 12" plants the front end in the curves almost as well as the 8". The bike cuts thru the turbulent air coming off the 18 wheelers on the interstate with no problem worth every penny.

Not for tall people, plus a lot of rattle

I am 6'2" and get a lot of buffeting at 50mph. Isnt what I expected. Looking for an alternative.

Not ideal for tall folks

At 6'2" this shield does not prevent buffeting above 100km/hr (62mph). On a recent three hour trip I noted the rain was directed away, toward the sides due to the shape. I may try the taller version as I like the quality however the distortions may be an issue as I will have to look through the curved surfaces and not over.

Awesome!

I installed a 12" tinted windshield on my 2013 Road Glide Ultra and took it for a 30 mile test ride this morning. I was on 3 different highways at speeds up to 75mph. I love this windshield, no longer does it feel like I am riding a kite! The front is much more stable than the stock windshield. I can't testify to the claim of being able to smoke a cigar on the highway as I don't smoke however there is much less wind noise.

Werks for me

Functional and looks good, I purchase a used Roadglide and couldn't hear the radio on the highway I purchased the same height Klockwerks shield and the problem was solved.

6.5 smoked

I am 6'4" and normally don't care for any windshield but the 6.5 smoked has changed my mind. Love it!

Excellent Windshield

I'm 5'11", first tried 10.5in flare tinted, was too tall, at night had to look thru it, too dark, switched to 8.5in dark smoke, can easily look over it all the time, still excellent protection and smooth air. Very well designed shield. I also tried a 6.5in flare, too much wind, felt like I had no windshield but it looked cool, not much protection from the 6.5in windshield if that's what you’re looking for.

Not for tall people

If you are more than 5'8" this wind sheild is not for high speed cruising. I am 5'11" I've installed the 8" flare on my Roadglide ... I should have taken the 12 incher. It looks great and it's OK under 50 m/h but above that ... you need ear plugs.
