Didn't want heavy leather chaps

Looked in my area for chaps that weren't leather. Found one pair that looked cheaply made. Saw these at Motorcycle Superstore and thought I'd give them a try. Quality looks good for the price. Fit is good. The leg zippers are toward the back of the leg and are difficult to zip, so I start the zipper then put my legs in them. I am 260, 5'10", with a 42" waist and 31" inseam. I got a XXL, and am happy with the fit. They are a little long, but work out well when riding.

Chaps

I bought these chaps to wear over my dress pants for commuting to work. They seem to fit the bill. I ordered size small based on the sizing charts and was nervous as I'm typically around a medium in most clothing purchases. The small was actually a fairly decent fit, if anything maybe even slightly big. I would have been swimming in the mediums if I hadn't trusted the sizing charts. They seem like they will be fairly durable. I also like the look of them.

Great chaps

Never wore chaps before, but after owning a River Road vest, I had to get the same brand name for the chaps. Great quality, fit is true and I feel that I have that extra layer of protection against the elements and possible mishaps, giving me great comfort on long rides, I like River Road quality!

Disappointed

Fit was horrible. Ordered the 2XL and they fit so snug without any pants or clothes on underneath. My bare leg was enough to make me realize how horrible they fit. My measurement was at least 2 inches below what it called for. They looked great and seemed to be what I'd like if they actually fit.

Bad a$$!!

Just a bit larger around the waist, Had to put in a couple more holes in the belt, no big deal.

Great Gear

The yellow side is highly visible. They are easy to put on and get off. Reversing the chaps is easy. The fastening buttons have become loose after five months, but what do you expect? Get a sewing kit or some rivets for them.
