KLR SEAT

I researched for over 7 months looking for the right seat for me for my KLR. I had no comfort problems with the stock seat, but it was just way to high and narrow, I saw a Sargent seat at a BMW rally, and they were selling very well, after talking with the owners, all who said it was a very comfortable saddle, I like the fact that when you purchase a Sargent seat, you do not have to send them your old seat, they sell the complete seat a big plus for me. Also having a 27 inch inseam, anything I can purchase that will put me closer to the ground is also a plus and Sargent offers that also. So I bit the bullet and paid the price for my new Sargent low seat, when it arrived it was not what I expected, it was better, not only was it lower but is was wider where you need it, installed it and took a 125 mile ride, it was a little hard in the foam at first, but after about an hour the atomic foam (they call it), formed to me, my back never hurt, I was never had any problems what so ever. Excellent seat, since a purchase mine many of my fellow riders have also purchase them, BMW, VSTROME, KLRS.

Love my Sargent seat.

After one too many rides that I felt for days with my stock KLR 650 seat, I decided to get a Sargent seat and couldn't be happier. Long ride are a breeze with the Sargent seat. I don't want to get off the bike because I'm comfortable riding now. Thank to Motorcycle Superstore for great service again.

KLR 650 seat

I put about 5k-6k miles a year on my klr and thought about a corbin for a while but hesitated spending my money. Read some reviews on klr seats but didn't know anyone personally that had an aftermarket seat. Then saw the Sargent advertised on Superstores web site. Better priced than corbin. so I ordered it. Wish I bought this seat 2 yrs. ago. Wider in seating area better feeling foam. Went from 50-60 miles to 100-150 miles before my a-- starts to burn. Money well spent.

klr 650 seat

This seat is priceless. The stock seat is garbage and has a pressure point right in your crack. The Sargent is awesome. You immediately feel a difference. Long rides are no sweat. Motorcycle superstore has a great price. Get this seat.

Best upgrade yet

Before I bought this seat i was content with the factory seat on my 50 min ride the work. But my first 2hr long ride did it for me. I highly recommend this seat to anyone. Unlike most aftermarket seats, this one didn't require to be broken in. I can ride multiple 7hr days with no problem now.

2009 KLR 650

New bike after 10 years not riding. Old days I rode Corbins on BMWs. Corbin unresponsive to email inquiries re KLR seats, so gave Sargent a try. Very happy with seat. Arrived in short order, I've three 300+ mile days on it so far, as well as daily commutes, and from memory would rate it at least the equal of Corbin wrt comfort. Will have to see about long-term durability, although initial inspection revealed good workmanship. Would recommend.

Sargent Lowered Seat

I got the lowered seat. So far several hundred miles it’s far more comfortable than the stock seat. I have not tested on a long trip yet. So far so good I highly recommend.

Sargent standard height replacement seat

I found that the seat is much more comfortable than the stock seat. The fit is as good as stock, and the appearance is also very good. I would recommend both this seat and MSS to anyone.

Sargent Low Seat for KLR650

I am very happy with the seat. It is a bit wider than OEM seat so the standover does not pick up the full 1 7/8" of lowering for the "inseam challenged". It is still an excellent seat though and it widens as you go back to give you more support and seating area for long riding days.

Sargent Low Model Seat for KLR 650

This is my second Sargent seat. Just as I experienced with the first this seat is well made and quite comfortable. In addition, it reduced the bike's height sufficiently to avoid installation of shorter suspension links (dog bones).

Standard height Sargent seat

Well made and perfect fit. Wider and firmer than stock. For me, the stock seat is fine for short jaunts, but becomes painful after a few hundred miles. On longer rides, the Sargent seat is a big improvement over stock.

KlR650 regular height seat

The previous owner had installed a custom dished seat. What an improvement the Sargent seat is. Not only is the padding more comfortable, but the ability to move back and forth on the seat during long rides really increases the comfort level. After a six hour ride the seat was still feeling great. I was also worried about the new seat adding extra height, but it ended up being lower and providing better foot contact to the ground. Great improvement.

Better than custom KLR650 seat

My 2008 KLR650 came with a custom dish type seat. After a few hours of riding I could not get comfortable, no matter how much I squirmed around. What a difference installing the Sargent regular height seat has made. I was worried that it might add to overall seat height, but I think I actually ended up a little closer to the ground. With the super padding they use, the flatter and wider seating area I can now move around on the seat and long haul discomfort is a thing of the past.
