Pirelli Rosso II rear tire on collector Ducati 996 superbike
These Pirellis were mounted with my No-Mar tire changer and balancer replacing original Michelin tires with only 691 miles due to age. Original Michelin rear tire had some weight from the factory and the Pirelli required a bit more to get perfect balance on the balancer verified vibration free at high speeds on the bike. Wet traction and tread life ratings are estimates as this is a collector bike ridden occasionally and never in rain. I have been riding since and repairing motorcycles since 1965.

Must buy for any Ninja 250 rider
These are by far and away an improvement over OEM Ninja 250 tires. Very grippy, superb wet weather traction, the only complaint I have is the presence of headshake on deceleration above 40mph. It isn't enough to cause terrible concern, but it does mark down points on stability. Keep your hands on the bars and these are far and away superior tires for any Ninja 250/500 owner to consider.

I had this tire on another bike a few years ago and went back to using a knobby on my new bike because that's what it had. I decided to try it on the new bike and it immediately reminded me of why I loved it. The traction on most surfaces I ride in New England are no match for this tire and it really is amazing at how it makes the whole bike more plush and controllable in the rocks and roots.

Bad Tires?
Ordered two sets for a Buell 1125. First day with new tires went to the track & after the third session the compounds started to separate and the softer compound started to chunk up. Sent the tire back to Motorcycle Superstore and will have to wait 6-8 weeks to get a response. Just got back from the track and the second tire did the same thing! Checked with the org's coaches and they run the same tire and pressures and they never had an issue. Will contact Pirelli direct to see what they can do.

Great tire
Really works good on my Monster. Excellent turn in and stability in turns. Can't speak to tread life or wet traction as the 500 miles I have put on them has been in dry weather.
