For the price, I really can't complain. Spent about 1,000 miles in this suit and it was essentially useless before I was done. The PVC lining shakes itself apart from the fabric rather quickly. The pants held up for longer than the jacket but still tore around the pocket area.
Did a good job while the PVC lining remained intact. Don't expect this to be a long term solution.
This suit fits me great over my riding gear. I was worried about a two piece suit leaking in the seat area and considered a one piece but no worries now. I rode 230 miles on the highway home from a week long trip in the all day pouring rain wearing this suit. Some water did make its way down around the collar getting my shirt collar wet. I should've tightened the Velcro around my neck but dont like it too tight. Besides that I was perfectly dry. My seat area was dry as well.
Gulf Coast wet riding? It rains hard and hot here, so regular rain wear gets me just as wet from sweating. Frogg Togg enables cool and dry riding by keeping most (98% or so) of the water out, while breathing. After 20 min/75 mph/driving rain/80degF, only lower thighs and shins were damp. Not wet, just damp. And it's compact enough that I can carry with me. Thank you Frogg Togg. I'm throwing out my nylon rain suit.
