Renthal is the leading manufacturer of motorcycle and ATV handlebars, grips and chainwheels. Renthal is deeply embedded in the history and culture of motocross and off-road motorcycle racing. Motorcycle enthusiasts Andrew Renshaw and Henry Rosenthal formed Renthal in 1969 in Manchester, England to make handlebars for trials bikes. In 1975, Renthal began producing motocross products, and entered into the US market in the early ‘90s with an office in Valencia, California. Renthal now employs over 60 production staff and its motorcycle accessories are sold in 42 countries. In 2000, Renthal's Manchester factory was destroyed by a massive fire and was replaced on-site by a state-of-the-art 41,000 square-foot design and manufacturing facility. Renthal uses the most high-tech equipment available for manufacturing, quality control, R&D, and storage. Renthal’s custom-spec machines include bar-bending machines, a fatigue tester and drop-test rig created to fatigue aluminum handlebars.
