Makes the bike really "pop"
Nice tires, look great and makes the bike really pop out. The retro look of whitewall tires never seems to fade out of style. My VTX 1800 really needed whitewall tires. They seem to handle pretty well. Whent out on a ride of a few hundred miles last weekend and had a blast. I installed the tires myself at home with some tire levers and dish soap. Balancing was easy Just used Dynabeads 2oz front and rear. Would be nice if Dunlop made the Wide white wall in the 150/80-17 the compromise of the 140/80-17 was good though. Rubber side down!

Dunlop-404 WW front tire
Tire arrived ahead of regular deliv. date. Which is outstanding. Price was better than anywhere I looked, period!! Performance is unreal, compared to original tires. Have rode in rain, and dry roads ,outstanding. Tire on a '06 Royal Star TD. White walls give that retro look.

Dunlop D404's
Replaced original D404's on my 1997 Yamaha Royal Star Tour Deluxe - only whitewalls I can find to fit. As far as wear too soon to tell. They seem to handle very well compared to the bald 404's I was riding on.

Dunlop 404 White Wall Tire
I ordered a set of Dunlop's for my 1996 Yamaha Royal Star. The look is awesome, very nostalgic with the cool white walls. Many people assumed that I had bought a different bike. The price was fantastic, and received them in one day! Have only ridden on them twice, but liked what I felt.

I liked the OEM tires on my VTX1300R, so I decided to replace them with the same thing. The whitewalls give a new look to the bike and really scream RETRO!

Dunlop D404 Whitewall
I've run Dunlop D404 whitewalls on my 2001 Royal Star Tour Classic for over 3 years. I'm getting excellent mileage and superior wet handling. I just replaced my rear D404 after 12,700 miles of trouble-free riding. My front tire has over 14,000 miles and is still not showing the wear bars. I can't understand why some folks report getting less than 5,000 miles as I've always exceeded 12,000 miles.

Very Poor Wear......
The date is May 20th 2008. I bought my Dunlop 404 for the rear of my Vulcan 750 in July of 2007 and I need to replace it already. I'm barely at 4,000 miles on it, the center is bald and I'm loosing traction Very disappointed in this tire and will never buy Dunlop's again.

Pretty much the only affordable WWW tire for the 1100cc Honda Aeros. The front wheel is 17" which is odd. This tire does not last very long so it's either go to blackwall, shell out $$$$$$ or go with these......
