And they never last over 10K. 95% highway miles to work and back (120miles/day) 6.5/7k. My '99 1100 ACE The only tire that got over 10K was the one car tire I put on. I will be buying these tires for the life of the bike. Looks > tire life expectancy. Can’t beat MC Superstores free shipping either.

Have the original K555 that came stock on the bike when I bought it brand new in 2002. Nearly 10 yrs. later it has lasted CT and FL weather with 24,000 miles. I finally need to replace it, just b/c tread has finally worn down. Will be replacing it with the Dunlop K555- Excellant choice and road proven.

I have a Yamaha 1100 VStar Custom. It has 6786 soft miles on it. I weigh 162lbs. The Dunlop K555 rear tire is gone, completely worn out. I do not speed. I have not had to lock the brakes, ever, and I have never spun the rear tire, yet it is completely worn to the plies. I have also been very careful to keep the tire properly inflated. This is not acceptable by any standard and I seriously question the validity of anyone who says it is. I have ridden for 43 years and this is a first!

I have used this tire in a wide white wall variety on my bike since I bought my motorcycle. Motorcycle Superstore's price was lower than any dealership in the area. Even with the slightly increased cost of having the tire installed at a dealership without having bought the tire there, I saved from $40 to $80 when I replaced the rear tire.
