David San Diego,  CA Dunlop = D404 Metric Cruiser Rear Tire I have used Dunlop tires on my 2001 Yamaha Roadstar since I purchased it and the tire life has been amazing. I will continue to use the Dunlop tires but do wish they had a whitewall for the metric bikes in the size I need.

Mick Hickory,  NC 404's Still Going Strong I now have around 6500 miles on my tires and they still look great. My advice to some of you guys who seem to be having a lot of trouble with tire life is to get your tires changed somewhere else, and do not over inflate the tire. I got roughly 9,000 miles out of my last set and expect at least that many miles from this one. On another note: I am thinking about putting a car tire on the back of my bike the next time I change. As for some of you who are claiming 15-20,000 miles on these tires? No offense, but I find that hard to believe. If it is true, tell us your secret. :-)

Dave Utter Denver,  CO Great tire Much stickier than the factory shoes. This was a dealer recommendation and so far we're very pleased. Since the tire is new I can't comment on tread life. I'll say average as that will be my expectation.

Charles Oroville,  CA Great cruiser tire I bought this to replace the center-worn original Bridgestones that were on my 2002 Vstar when I bought it. They seem to ride smoothly and absorb the large bumps better than the Bridgestones. Time will tell how they wear. I don't know if the Dunlop is a slightly smaller diameter than the same (nominal) size Bridgestones or if it's just the new front tire is bigger than the one that came off, but my RPMs are higher for a given MPH than before. So far, a great product.
