PIRELLI MT66 150/80-16 REAR TIRE
Delivered to the installer one day early. The service from these folks is impeccable. The tire replaces a Bridgestone and it does ride better. Not quite as grippy, but on a 1500 Vulcan Classic I'm not carving corners. Other riders I work with like the looks of the tire.

Great Tire
This is my second MT-66. I got over 8500 miles on the first and loved the overall performance I received from it. Any road surface, any weather, it performed very well. It handles the twisties as easily as the highway, and even gravel was no problem. I ride all road surfaces since I live in a very rural area, and this tire held up better than any Dunrock I have used. I would recommend it to anyone as a very good tire and you just can't beat the price! Dollar for dollar you will not find a better deal!

Pirelli - MT66 Route Rear Tire
I’m trying the Pirelli MT66 Rear tire on a 2008 Ultra Bagger to check it out compared to other tires I've used. It has very good grip for hot rodding around corners and curves, feels great at high speed in the sweepers. Not sure if it complements the chassis design as well as the Dunlops, the jury is still out. Don't know about wet weather either. I just have about 1k on it. Don't know about Durability as well.

Not for heavy bikes.
The tire is quiet, it runs straight down the road, and it has incredible cornering traction, but it's not suitable for heavy motorcycles. This tire is probably more suitable for use on something much lighter such as a Yamaha V-Star or the Honda Shadow line which would require the softer rubber for cornering traction and stability.

Good tire for VN900LT
Good tires at any price and these were less than most. They corner better than the Continentals and seem to ride better and quieter, however they are new compared to the almost done conts. I don't know about Durability but grip and mileage seem to work in opposite directions so I'm more interested in grip.

Pirelli MT66 180/70 H15 Tire
This is the second MT66 I've put on the rear of my 2006 Honda VTX 1300. The first Pirelli lasted nearly 12,000 miles under an aggressive riding style and has vastly superior wet traction compared to the original equipment Dunlop. I used a 180/15 compared to the stock 170/15, which gave me a bit more width, yet still fit the stock rim well. I'd recommend this tire to anyone looking for a cruiser replacement tire.

skeptical purchaser made happy
Of course I am one who talks to bike shops before I do things. The bike shop people said that the Pirelli MT66 was a 'value' tire, and just slightly better in quality over my Dunlop 404 tires I had on my Kawasaki VN900. They were pushing me to buy the Metzeler tires at their more than double prices over what MSS charges for their Metz tires. I went against their "better" judgement. I mean I got both these tires for the cost of just the front tire of the Metz tire from the dealer. Well I have had these tires on now for over a month, have well over 1500 miles on them, and have found a tire I plan to stick with for years to come if the longevity of these tires is better than my OEM tires. The reviews on these tires are true; they handle extremely well, do not follow lines in the roads, and have a pretty decent grip for a cruiser tire. I just hope they last a bit longer than my Dunlop’s did.
