One month on the road
I have had Dunlop Elite 2s on my Yamaha for years and they have performed well with no dry rot or other problems. The salesman convinced me that the Michelins were a better tire. When they arrived I found they had almost the exact same tread pattern. The only negative things I have found so far is the way they are molded in many segments and have about a thousand tits. These tires seem to be a bit softer ride the handling is the same. There were no problems mounting them and they seem well balanced, Time will tell about the mileage. My Personal opinion there is not one dimes worth of difference in the two tires only some falsely perceived name preference. Service and delivery times were as advertised. The other thing is these were made in Spain and not The U.S. as the Dunlop’s are. I am reasonably content. If they wear better, I will be satisfied, Hope this helps you decide what tire is best for you.

I could tell a difference immediately. Better cornering and didn’t follow grooves in highway. Ride a little firmer. I did front and rear tires and like them over the dunlop. Unknown on millage

Michelin - Commander Cruiser Front Tire
I have only ridden less than 500 miles and so far this tire is everything I expected. I put it on my 1984 Yamaha Virago 1000. The stability, cornering, and drytracking I rated a 5. I haven't rode on wet yet. The price was right and I've never had any better service from an on-line dealer. Keep up the good work, Motorcycle Superstore!

One of the best! My second set!
I'm on my second front tire and my second rear commander and these tires perform excellently! Great balance of softer sticky rubber for good grip in wet and dry with decent mileage. I get about 15K on the fronts and 9K on the rears and I ride my FXSTSI Springer really hard. I think the softer casing on these tires make them perform great and don't follow road seems like some other tires. I'm hooked on these!

Have not had these tires very long, but so far they have been outstanding. I went on a 400 mile bike trip last weekend and they performed perfectly. Handling was great and ride was very comfortable. I hope the tread life is long.

I'm riding on it
Good tire. Handles well. Soft ride at 36 psi. I have a vl1500. I won't know for another 10k miles about cupping and wear. In one month, what can I say. It handles like a new tire.

I'll keep using the Commanders!!
I have replaced both front and rear tires on my 04 Yamaha Venture Royal Star with the same tires that came with it. I was very happy with the originals (they had 4-5k on them)and I got the same tires to replace. Getting close to 14,000 miles on the first set I felt there was no reason to change brands. They ride very smooth, corner great, traction is excellant in all areas and tread life is outstanding. Motorcycle Superstore price is a great deal. I will buy from them again!!!

Michelin Commander motorcycle tires
Tires have only been on the bike for a week now and I have put about 200 miles on them. I have ridden about 100 in the mountains of north Georgia and the other 100 has been on the highway. I like everything about them except one thing. The tread pattern is almost identical to the Dunlop 402 tires that come stock on new Harleys. The problem is that when driving on the highway were there are rain grooves in the road. The tire will walk & wobble with the path of the rain grooves making the bike ride a little less stable. Unfortunately, the Michelin's do the very same thing. I previously had the Metzler 880's on my bike and were happy with them. The only reason I changed was because I have Michelin tires on all my other vehicles and were very pleased with them so I decided to give them a try on my motorcycle.
