Metzler ME880
Excellent made tire. Handles great in the turns and switchbacks. I use the ME880's on my Shadow Sabre 1100. These tires make the bike handle so well they give the rider much more stability going around curves. Highly recommended for any cruiser!

metzeler ME-880 marathon touring rear tire
I have been using Metzeler marathon tires for the past 20 years. Hands down they are the best tire. I have never had any trouble with them, way better then Dunlop’s.

Metzeler ME 880
This is my 4th rear tire for my Harley Ultra Classic and I wouldn't ride with anything else. The ME 880 rides quietly, tracks great and is not affected by the Hwy rain groove. On my Ultra, I am able to lean it over far enough to grind my floor boards and feel totally confident with the traction that the ME 880 tires give. When they wear down, I will replace it with another one!!

Rear Tire
Tire is great. I am happier with these than the IRC tires that came on the bike. It is a pleasure to ride on these.

Metzeller-ME880 touring rear tire
This tire has very little noise. Great on wet and gravel, love the 6ply rear, 5ply front. I ride a gl 1800 and did save about $200.00 changing them for myself. The mounting was done by an installer.

Metzeler ME 880 170/80 H on rear of '93 1400 Intruder
I bought this bike new and I've always loved it. I ran Bridgestone’s front and rear for years. Handling was great but rear tire wear was always poor, as the 1400 Intruder puts so much torque to the pavement. So I tried the Dunlop CruiseMax.The CruiseMax on the front has been pretty good. The rear tire sucked in everything but wear. It was great for wear as it's a very hard tire. If you're riding a big powerful bike, spend the extra money and go with the Metzeler.

Metzeler - ME 880 Marathon Touring Rear Tire
In my opinion, the Metzeler ME 880 is the best all around touring tire available on the market today. I’ve been running on these tires for about 20 years now and just love them. They are great in the rain, and will give you many miles of service. I just changed my front tire which had 20k on it, just before Laconia bike week. It still had some miles left on it but I didn’t want to push it. The rear I just changed because I picked up a nail, but I’ll get around 12k or 13k on it. These tires are my favs!!
