Only a few miles so far but this tire seems to handle the weight and power of this heavy bike well. I just LOVE Motorcycle Superstore’s Service! I've bought 6 tires from them so far and will not buy from anyone else. Best prices and superb service.

DUNLOP E3's
I love the feel and handling. I feel confident in the twisties even on my big heavy tractor(vtx) but they fool you on the straight takeoff's they spin without you noticing taking lots of miles and tread off too quickly for the price ....But I just bought same pair from MSS (they were great in all aspects including price matching lowest competitor) so I guess the high speed cornering is worth the trade off!

Dunlop Elite 3
Run Elite 3 tires front and back on my VTX 1800N, they now have 15,000+ miles and rear is needing replaced in about 2000 more miles and front should get at least 5000 more. Run rear at 45 PSI and front at 42 PSI and use Dyna Beads for tire balancing. And yes the rear is getting flat in the middle but still corners nice. About ½ of miles are in the rain or with wet pavement with great traction. 1/3 of the miles is 2 up and loaded heavy with luggage. Will replace with same.

Excellent tire. Would suggest running at Dunlops suggested pressures. Got 15,573 running 40 psi, and 13676 at 36 psi on the rears (180/70HR16). Got 28,677 on the front (130/70HR18) at 38psi, running 2# lower trashed the tire. Have run this tire in standing water on the highway with very little hydroplaning.

DUNLOP ELITE 3 TIRES
HAVE USED METZ 880 ON BOTH HARLEYS FOR YEARS BUT WORN FAST. NOW USE DUNLOP ELITE 3 WITH BETTER RESULTS. GOOD PERFORMANCE LIKE THE METZ, ESPECIALLY IN RAIN, BUT LONGER LIFE. A MUST FOR ALL HARLEYS. ROGER

I am IMPRESSED!
I always used factory Dunlop 402s on my softails. I was tired of the poor wear factors, so I tried E3s. @ 5,000 mi they are far less worn than 402s. They're better on poor surfaces, rain grooves, tar snakes, water, and hot roads near Death Valley in August. Temps were often 114 degrees and at times higher. The roadbed was far hotter. The 402s wear like art gum erasers in this heat (especially loaded). E3s appear to be wearing far less. I HIGHLY recommend for softails, especially for performance.

Great tire and price. Better than original tire for ride, great in the rain.
