The Dunlop D402 is probably the best all around touring tire I've used. There are some that tote profile, coolness and vintage looks but they don't last. The Dunlop averages a good 10,000 - 12,000 miles of great touring. If you're gonna race, do tricks or showboat who knows how long they will last. I don't ride like your grandma either. I ask my big bike to do everything a smaller bike can do and it responds wonderfully.

I always buy this tire for my Roadking and Electraglide. I get less miles now that I moved to Va. but the roads are more course. I always buy from MC Superstore. Best price, service and fast delivery. Will buy your goods over and over again. Thanks, Ed.

I bought the tire for my 2007 streetglide. Price was very reasonable compared to all other dealers. I recommend Motorcycle Superstore for all Motorcycle needs.

They can say what they want about other tire manufactures but the dunlop tire, although you don't get the life out of the tire but you wont get the long life out of other tires either.

I've been riding since the mid-70s, and although I've used other brands of tires from time to time, I will never do so again. I've experimented enough over the years, and the bottom line is actually quite simple: No one makes better motorcycle tires than Dunlop. The D402 performs very well on my Harley Softail, and despite my size (6-8, 380ish), it also wears very well. I could not be more pleased.

On a tire with 5K mi on it, I ran over something and lost all the air in my back tire. I ran for at least 4 miles to get to an exit ramp on the interstate. It was handling a little funny, but I got there. I had the tire plugged. It is not damaged as far as I can tell. It holds air and the bike rides fine. I will probably not wear it down all the way because of the plug. But I had to give the plug a try with only about 1/3 of the life used on the tire.
