The tire is very good. I am on my third one, and I got 20,000 miles each out of my first two. A total of 40,000 miles. I am sure I will get another 20,000 miles out of this one.

Good Overall Cruiser Tire

OEM Harley replacements - The D401 is a good overall cruiser tire. Wear is good, straight-line stability is excellent and the ride is superior. Cornering & traction aren't nearly as good as other sport offerings from Metzeler or Michelin, but for the average Harley pilot, it'll do fine. The only minor complaint are the small ribs on the sidewall, which make cleaning and maintenance a PITA.

This tire is the oem replacement for my 06 FXDBI. The price was way less than the dealer cost. And no other motorcycle tire dealer could beat the price, local or online. The delivery was super-fast, with free shipping. Now I recommend the Motorcycle Superstore to all my friends. I will continue using M.S.S. for all my motorcycle needs. Thanks.

Best for the money

This tire lasts me 20,000 miles. If anyone finds a tire that does better, tell us about it. I'm 250 pounds and ride a '09 Super Glide. It's the only transportation I have, so it's ridden all year long in all weather. The tire has worked fantastically for me and should do the same for anyone. As far as I'm concerned, this is the only model tire I'll ever get for the front of my bike.

Thanks motorcycle-superstore

I received my tire in 3 days. The tire was identical to the tire on my 1995 sportster XLH 1200. The tire was easy to mount, and made my ride a lot smoother, and easier to handle on the road. Thanks again for the great price and free shipping and handling.

Very Good tire

I put on the new dunlop front tire on my 2006 Harley and went to East Coast Sturgis and never had a problem. Great tire and great price. You'll see me again.

better than average

This is my 3rd set on an hd 1200r. Cornering wet, a little dicey, but overall a very good tire. Found the Avon Venom's a little stickier but they have much less tread life.
