guy de phillips fort myers,  FL dunlop d205 rear tire This is the second tire I got 7000 miles out of. I ride a 2007 Softail custom Harley Davidson. I like the tire but I am still looking for that 100,000 mile tire.

Charles Williams San Diego,  CA Nice Tire I really like this tire and the fact that it's the same tire as the Harley Dealer has for 50 bucks less is a plus. I actually think this looks a little wider than the original. None the less, fast delivery, great service and easy to look up and order. Thanks...

Big D apex,  NC Dunlop D205 200X55R17 Hard tire. I had a 210 Metzler and it lasted 3200 miles. The Dunlop came on bike as OEM. I got 5200 miles from the first tire. You can tell the difference. Does not corner as well or is as comfortable as the Metzler. I did ride it in the rain quite a few times and had no problems with traction. Thought I'd try the 205 instead of the 400 series.

J.Bowie St.Marys,  WV Handles good but doesn't last I bought the D205 as a replacement for the factory Dunlop’s on my 2007 FatBoy. I only got about 8400 miles out of the factory Dunlop’s and am down to the threads on the rear already after just 7100 miles on the D205s. I ride rather hard sometimes when on a good curvy 2 lane but have never spun the tire on my bike. The factory Dunlop’s on my 2004 FatBoy lasted 13,500 for the rear and 20,000 on the front. Dunlop is doing something different and it's not good. I'm going to Metzeler and don't plan on EVER buying another Dunlop.

Crypt Everett,  WA Average tire. Nothing special. This tire came on my '06 Harley Softtail when I bought it new. Had to change the tire at 7500 miles, tread was down to wear marks and starting to split. Tire life was split between solo and 2 up riding. This tire rates below average performance in the rain, Fair performance on dry pavement. It’s a decent stock tire, run it 'til it’s done and then put a Metzler 200/50ZR-17 on, you'll love the difference the Metzler makes.

Walter Palos Verdes,  CA D205 Dunlop Harley Rear Tire Completely satisfied with this tire. It works great for my daily commute of about 60 miles daily with a mix of freeway and street (60/40). This is a tire for a heavy cruiser bike like my Fat Boy. I have almost 9,000 miles on it and it still looks and feels great. I estimate a change at around 15,000 miles. Great price and great service from MC Superstore.

Ron Portland,  OR Metzler ME Marathon 880-200VR/17 vs D205 Harley-Davidson Series 200/55VR17 Actually the only reason I settled for the Dunlop tire was Metzler tire company has not put into there production line up a ME 880 Marathon 200VR/17 tire yet, or I would have purchased the Metzler brand.. As soon as Metzler has this 200VR/17 tire on the market I will remove the Dunlop tire. For traction and cornering along with wet/dry traction the straighter tracking Metzler ME 880 Marathon tire does not hang up on tar seams or on steel grated bridge decks it is a very straight tracking tire with good tire life for wear. It's an all around tire for all season riders! Which in my opinion Metzler tires are much better!
