Just installed a Metzeler 888 on my RoadKing and am really impressed! I had less than 100 miles on this tire and got caught on the interstate in a hard rain. When traffic in front of me slowed down for a construction zone I thought I might be in trouble on the slick pavement. However, I hit my rear brake and the Metzeler gripped the road like it had claws. Fantastic tire! Don't know about tread life yet.

So far this is a good dry tire but in the rain you had better slow down a lot. I would rather have the 880 for the wet as it is a better wet tire.

Have been riding on Metzelers for many yrs and have always had good luck with tread life and stability. Just got the 888 a few thousand miles ago and so far like the grip and handling. Good wet traction also. I am usually hard on tires so I am curious to see what kind of mileage I get out of them.

Only about 1000 miles so far and cannot tell about tread life. I have not been on wet pavement yet but expect traction to be excellent. Steel grid bridge decking stability is the best I have experienced. And with 75000 miles on this bike I have ridden over a lot of steel bridge decking. Very Fair pricing and Great customer service

Only purchasing my tires from Motorcycle Superstore because of the price and no hassle delivery, and only running the ME 880 on my flhstc because I ride a lot of miles and this tire really gets the job done. It's quiet, runs super smooth and gets me the most miles for the buck.
