Michelin Commander II
I have always had great confidence in Michelin tires either on long haul trucks, pickups, cars and my Harleys however, I feel that with the new engineering and rubber composition incorporated in the Michelin Commander II tire, you have raised the bar on Motorcycle tires and service life expectations... congratulations on a great product.

Great rain tire
I just had a new Commander 2 installed on my 2012 Road Glide and I can honestly say it impressed me in the rain. Immediately after having the tire installed I rode in some heavy Southeast Texas rain storms. After the tire started to wear in, I had no problems whatsoever with stability or handling. It tracked straight and I was going around highway curves at 75-80 miles an hour with confidence.

5.0 Rating all the Way!!!!
These Tires are better than anything on the road right now. I have had all different makes. I mounted the Commander II, both front and rear, and I have never felt more in control on my 06 Super Glide. These tires have very deep tread so the wet riding traction is fantastic. There is no limit to the cornering either. I have riden over 1,000 miles on these tires already, and I wouldnt recommend any other brand.

Great Tire!!
Have put around 450 miles on these tires on my 750 Vulcan, and am very impressed. Dead smooth, and no matter what, they are stuck to the ground. Haven’t gotten a chance to ride in the rain, but I have no fear thus far with these tires! I have ridden on gravel a bit, and the both the front and rear (Both Commander II) have held up very well. WILL be buying these again when this set gets worn out! Getting around 40 mpg.

Very Impressed
The H-D dunlop tires are very disappointing. Each tire required 4 to 5 times the lead balancing weight than the Michelin. Since the warrantee covered the 4 replacement tires in 12k miles, (due to punctures) I was lucky to get 3-4k miles out of the tires. Since the rear tire wore out & was not covered under the warrantee criteria I decided on the Michelin. Very happy with quality and workmanship. I also had very good experience with all previous Michelin tires on my motorcycles and autos.

Best tire for any Harley.
I just got rid of some cheap Maxxis tires I had on my 2003 Road Glide. Worst tires ever! The bike would give me a high speed wobble; especially when banking on the highway. I had lost all confidence in my bike. I put these Michelins on and went for a 200 mile ride to the Florida Keys. WOW! My bike felt so good, I was carving up the highway and it was asking for more. Felt like a whole new bike; confidence has been restored! Thank you Michelin for making a great tire.

These tires are amazing! I've only ridden about a thousand miles on them so cannot attest to durability yet. I was concerned about going to BI-PLY but I truly cannot tell a difference. These tires are FAST!! They are ready to ride when you are no warm up necessary. They super stable over tar, pavement transfers and at 110+ mph! they give confident grip at any angle even riding two-up. I will never buy super expensive, overrated Metzler's again.

Well I know have over 2500 miles on them in all types of driving conditions Dry to very wet Flat and straight to hills and major curves. these tires excedded all of my expections. And half of these miles are riding with my wife sitting behind me. The only reason I rated it a 4 for wet riding is because I rate every thing else I have had on this bike about a 2.5 or less. After 2500 miles they look like I just put them on yesterday. Highly recomend

Michelin Commender II
I was very dissatisfied with Dunlops and Bridgestone. After much research I chose the Michelin Commander II for my Intruder. I only have 100 miles on then but the dry, wet and corning are the best. Even if the thread wear is the same , the ride and stability will be worth it. Mounted and balanced with ease, with just about no weights. I installed front and rear. So far its a great responsive tire, I have too little miles on them to rate life expectancy. Tire tread is much deeper than my original sets of Dunlop's. I've gone thru two Dunlop rear tires and one front tire in a little over 10,000 miles of riding. Living in the Mountains tears up tires fast and high speed cornering given my low's running board limitations uses only about 75% of the center inboard tread so deeper center meat may turn out to be trick to higher milage, one can only hope!

2004 Wide Glide - goodbye Metzeler's!
I've been running (up to this point) Metzeler 880 tires on my bikes - 04 Wide Glide and '94 XLH-1200. The Commander II has everything I also like the Metz's. They corner well, do extremely well in the rain (here in Florida - important) and don't wander on road grooves or gratings on bridges. Wet and dry traction are as good as the Metz's. In fact I can't tell one minute difference - these tires handle superbly! Hope I get the miles from 'em!

Fantastic tire
I’ve only put 100 miles on these tires and I’m impressed with them. 10 times better than the Dunlops I had before. The only reason for the 3 rating on tread life is because I don’t know how long the will last. Michelin states they will go 20,000 miles. I sure hope so. They do have a good reputation.

I highly recommend the Commander II tires for anyone who desires a comfortable ride without the compromise of traction and performance. Michellin has done a great job of combinding performance and tread life into one tire. Great tires! Yet to ride in inclement weather. Will further comment on tread life after more miles.

Hello Commander II
NOTE I've not yet ridden in rain and don't know about tread life yet.
I replaced a Dunlop (4500mi) with a Metzler (8000mi) then these Michelins on my VN750. Oh baby it's smooth and true. The tires are so predictable. I nearly over controlled the bike the first time out as I was used to the Metzlers. This Michelin handles with authority and agility. I thought I had purchased a sport bike tire!
I get excellent dry traction and did I mention the holy crap turn responsiveness? :)

I have a little over a 1,000 miles on the tires and I put a front & rear on at the same time. I would tell everyone I know to run to get these tires. I'm finding what my 2001 FLHTCI can really do. If you have ever been to the Black Hills and ridden the Needles & Iron Mountain Road, you know how challenging it can be, these tires straighten the roads right out. I rated the tread life middle as I haven't had the tires very long. I would have waited to rate mileage but didn’t have the option.

Looks good on HD Deuce
I recently replaced the Metzeler ME 880 Marathon on my Harley Deuce. Handling of this Michelin seems great so far. I think the tread design is more appealing and the sidewalls have a really cool Commander logo with flames. I don't know why but the Metzeler looked wider even though it was the same size. I can't speak to mileage yet because I've only gone a few hundred so far; but I love the tread depth. It gives me a lot of confidence on wet roads. I'm a fan.

Disappointed after 2,000 miles of riding
I ride my HD Electra Glide hard, at its limits. Michelin tire loses traction where Dunlop tire is just beginning to be fun. Scared me a few times now. This tire pushes(slides)in turns and spins on acceleration. Terrible in sand also.(yard, parking lot etc. I rather traction over mileage any day!
