Great Tire

  • Stability

I ran Harley Dunlops to begin with but with aggressive cornering I destroyed two 21" front tires in a row in less than a thousand miles each. Since I changed to this tire I can corner all I want and still get at least 10,000 miles out of a front tire.

Heard much good about these tires for some time and these so far are living up to what I've heard. Mounted on my 250 Ninja they allow me to extract my max from this little bike and feel secure doing it. Not as extreme as some guys go, but a bit taller and wider than stock with a nice design for general use or for the twisties. No real wet riding yet so the jury is still out on that as well as tread life. So far..GREAT.

Great for cruising, not cornering

I have a matching set front and rear on a '08 Ninja 250, and they're great tires and all, but they are NOT made for cornering. They have around 4-5k miles on them though and they literally look brand new. The dry traction is OKAY, not the best. The wet traction however is amazing, highways or even corners. If you're putting these on a cruiser they would be great, but if you plan to do knee-dragging corners like I do, go for Metzelers or if you're on a budget, Shinkos.

I have matching tires front and rear (this is my second rear tire). At fifty miles a day for five days a week, I got 14 months of wear on the last rear tire (I did run it into the cord...oops). These tires handle great, I have them on a Suzuki DR650SE, and I show them no mercy. From constant freeway speeds of 70+, to the canyons and mountains of Arizona. I have had these tires all the way over to the edge of the tread and they hold their line the way they are suppose to!

I have a set of these on a ninja 500 for 11 months. With 9,000 miles I have no complaints, they do what tires are supposed to do. I often push the limits of traction at 80 mph on off ramps with confident feel. I get 58 MPG, highway. I don't like to ride in rain but I am not so scared with these tires any more with unintended tested in wet cornering and stopping with no slippage. I am super satisfied.

I bought this tire to replace the stock Bridgestone on my GS500. I already had the rear tire. I really like this tire. The price is good on it. I have not had the front tire in the rain yet, but I have had the rear in the wet and it performed really well. Overall a great tire for the price.
