This is a must have for any vehicle owner. It’s an awesome product that does its job very well. Gave my '07 R6 a beefier sound with the air filter swap alone. Very easy to install, but there was a tiny gap at the top between the air filter and the air box. I’m not sure if that’s just the way it is or not. But either way, I checked and noticed that there was no escape of any air, so it must be on properly. Thanks Motorcycle Superstore for the quick delivery!

I replaced my OEM filter and with this unit and am quite pleased with the fit and quality. I've had K&N filters in a few cars and they're easy to recharge and can save a few bucks in the long run. You might also feel a slight power boost compared to the paper element filters.

The filter looks good, fits perfect and as far as I can tell works as well or better than stock. I've only put about 700 miles hi-way and 300 miles of dirt roads. Haven’t removed the tank and checked it since the install but I've had good service from K&N filters on other bikes so I'm sure this will be just as good.

Like a breathe of fresh air
I put the k&n air filter on my k9 GSX R750 about a month ago now, right after my first 500 miles on the bike. The best way to describe the difference it made is to say that the bike can breathe better. Improved low end power and throttle response a little bit. Nice clean and crisp power now...definitely recommend.

Really well made filter but when I tried to put it on my bike it did not quite fit. It might have the housing that was affected by the heat but I'm not sure. I got a file and file a little off around the inside of the filter and it fit right in. But I did not use the donut gasket that they sent with it. It was just too tight. I took it off and it worked great...

Great Product and nice money saver
The K&N replacement filter is far superior to the stock filter, it last 100,000 miles. The stock filter has to be replaced every 4000 miles while the K&N filter can simply be cleaned. The K&N filter is the cost of two throw away filters that would only last 8000 miles. Plus the added benefit of cleaning more often if you wish to keep the filter at maximum performance. Great product and great price.

I am no stranger to the K&N filter line of products; I have been using their stuff for many years on all types of cars and trucks. When I found out there was a K&N filter available for my Harley I was very pleased. I noticed the increase in power and fuel efficiency immediately. Once again the K&N filter has proven to be an excellent choice and of course the savings I received when ordering from Motorcycle Superstore was enough to make me tell everyone I know about the website. I bought this for my 2002 ktm sx 125 it was really complex with 5 different parts and screws for the crown but once I wedged the crown into the air box it fit perfectly and it looks pretty cool my bike runs ten times cleaner and I'd recommended if you don’t have one of these you spend the money to get one.

I got no less from this product than I would have expected from K&N. I already had a Yoshi full racing exhaust and bought the PCIII to go with it. I now have way better low end and mid range than before. This has to be one of the best bang for the buck improvements you can make to a sport bike.

It seemed to be slightly larger when trying to fit it in the air box of my 03 SV 650, but that's much better than it being smaller and letting air pass on the sides. It looked a lot less dense then the stock filter so I hope it can catch the same amount of abnormalities like dust. After I got it in I didn't seem to get a lot; of performance out of it. I got more performance out of desnorkeling the airbox. Overall it seemed like a good product and I would probably buy again.

Installed on a DL650K6
I use K&N Filters on all my motor vehicles. On my DL650K6, the combination of the K&N Air Filter, along with NGK Iridium Spark plugs, has netted me a 2% increase in fuel mileage along with improved roll-on performance.Those who report their K&N's passed dirt very likely did not install the filter correctly. I wonder how many of them used K&N's filter grease along the rubber sealing surface? K&N has proven itself to me by filtering pounds of red clay dirt and desert talcum over many years in the past.

Excellent Filter
I have purchased many K&N filters in the past. I only recently heard some claims that the K&N does not filter as well as paper elements. I don't have any scientific data to refute this but I'll tell you what I learned when I replaced my stock paper filter with a K&N. When I removed the stock filter I found a uniform residue of dust inside the airbox. This is dust the stock filter should have prevented from entering the airbox! The K&N fit nice a snug, almost too tight for a correct fit. I feel quite certain that it will prevent more dust from entering the airbox.

Great product for ANY vehicle.
I've never been disappointed by a K& N product and this is no exception. Installed the filter in my YZF600R before a 5-day trip in Colorado and I averaged 60mpg on the trip. I definitely noticed a performance difference at home too. At 70mph my RPM's dropped from 6000rpm to about 5300 after installation. BIG improvement over the factory air filter. I don’t have any experience with MC Superstores customer service because honestly I've been very happy with every order I've received. Great Job.

i recently replaced the stock square type air filter on my 08 ninja 500 with a k&n air filter, using the stock intake box. the replacement was very easy, and took maybe 15 minutes to do. i noticed a 2-3 mile per gallon increase, and a very slight increase in power. i live at about 7000 feet above sea level, so the more air i can get to my engine the better. it is a simple enough change, and as with all k&n filters they pay for themselves in the long run. any high performance vehicle should have this change, simply for the relatively low price and the benefits of the product. good bolt on part for anything.

I've loved K&N since I first started using them in 1991. They are always a great fit and work exceptionally well.
If I had my way though I would be using an AEM dry element filter in place of the K&N. No oiling and indestructible since there is no mesh to deform. Unfortunately AEM is not making motorcycle filters yet. Until then I suggest a K&N for any motorcycle you ride!!!

This is a must have for any one who loves to have peak performance out of their machine. I love the fact of spending a few minutes in the garage gives me another +10 horse power to the rear wheele (Yes, I did check). As if my '08 GSXR 750 needed any more power, I was happy to add more to keep me tucked in tight and to keep those car drivers heads turning as I blast by.

K & N Air Filter for '04 Suzuki Volusia
The only problem I had with the air filter is that after installation (yes, it is a little off on the fit, but better too tight than too loose) was that I had to cover up one of the air intakes before the engine ran smoothly. Has anyone else had that experience with the filter on a Volusia? My gas mileage has not changed, so the savings is not having to replace the filter.

I recently just spent 56 dollars buying one of these for my 2008 GSX-R600 and with the combination of full exhaust and this filter it really woke up the bike. And as for assembly it matched right up, was already oiled out of the bag and fit perfect and snug. A lot more throttle response and also has a little turbocharger whine to it.

Replacement paper filters were at least $35, at just over twice that cost I have a renewable filter that will last longer than the bike. Was very tight fit on installation. Have not gotten it on a dyno, but my seat of the pants option is the motor is breathing easier and the power is up. Only concern is the rubber outer edge, seems like it will tear after removing it a couple times for cleaning.

The Tank removal is the worst part of this job. The K&N filter fit perfectly and has added a slightly throatier exhaust note for a perception of improved performance. The cost is steep, but if your plans are to ride the same bike for a number of years or lot's and lot's of miles (I do), it will hopefully be worth it.

I had to trim the filter's frame to get it to properly fit into the groves in the air box. I haven't been able to see a large increase in power or fuel economy. I never have experienced the claims they make on the advertisements, do not have a dyno. at my house. After trimming off some of rubber framing, the filter fit great. It came pre-oiled another plus. Personally, I believe that the filter is made of better quality and will last forever.

I just bought this filter for my '07 Kawasaki ZZR600 and it was worth every penny. The engine runs more freely through the rpm range. I noticed some improved throttle response. The best thing with all K and N filters is the knowing you do not have to worry about them for a long time.

Worth it!
These are good quality, high-flow air filters that you can clean and recondition pretty much indefinitely. They are noticeably less restrictive than stock, which means that you will need to adjust your carburetor or fuel injection when you install one. Worth it.

Found the filter to be a little difficult to align and fit into the stock air filter box. Have not felt any dramatic power increase, but then again I’m not a dyno machine. A bit pricey. Filter does last longer and is more durable than the stock Yamaha foam. I also use the outwears topical filter which is definitely working. You can see the dust it catches. If it was not on the outwears it would have gone straight into the filter itself.

Well as I expect from any K&N air filter it does add a boost in H.P. and is a permanent air cleaning solution as long as you properly maintain it. On my particular bike, it took quite a while to add this filter since I had to disassemble half the front fairing, and lift the gas tank to access the housing. Once I accessed the housing it was a piece of cake. I do recommend you have some silicone handy as there was a small gap between the top and bottom housing since the K&N outer frame is thicker than the stock filter. Not a major gap, but one that I could see. So, I just filled the gap with some clear silicone. Other than that, works great in addition to my Scorpion slip-on exhaust. Did not need to remap for this combined modification.

I had my doubts about more air flow (at what price?). I applied some of the K&N oil to the "clean" side of the air box. I ran it for about 1 season, went to remove to service the element. Inspected the tenacious oil below the filter and was surprised at the amount of crud/grit (filter dirty, too, but I expected that). Cleaned it up, repeated same experiment with OEM element, and there's no crud. So I only run the K&N now for "special" weekends.
