Did not work for me
I installed the latch and it didn’t really hold the seat very securely. It was very difficult to remove and when I did get it off I bent the spring and then it was totally useless so I threw it away and went back to a bolt. Maybe it’s me but I’m an engineer and the design has a flaw that the only thing holding the seat in a downward position is the strength of the little spring wire. The horizontal strength is very strong which is what made it hard to remove. Once the spring is bent it’s useless.

Solves the hard to reach problem
I have lost too many seat bolts on my Ultra-Classic. It's not an easy reach between the seat and the tour pack. This quick-release helps to solve the problem and makes removing the seat much easier.

Nice looking clip, installed in a minute or 2, the hardest part was getting the old seat screw out with the tour pack installed. Not sure about the durability of it yet as the clip mechanism is only wire. Seems to be a good value for the money.
