It's wider and about an inch or two shorter than the original seat. I found it too wide for me. My inner part of my legs kept rubbing against the seat. If your a wide build, this seat would be good for you.

I was using Lepera Siloutte on 2010 Iron 883. The seat is definitely a lot softer than my Lepera seat. My wife was sitting on it for the whole day and did feel sore at the end. However, I do not think that its from the seat but from my shock and the bumps on the road. Overall, I would recommend this seat. If I had the opportunity, I would definitely purchase this seat again. It is cost effective, gets the job done, and it does not look bad.

It is very easy to install on my 1900 Roadstar. It looks great and the key release still works to lift the seat.
