I bought a wide vintage mustang seat with backrest for my 2007 V-Star 1300 XVS1300ctw. I drove 150 miles with it. I am sitting closer to the handle bars than the original seat. I am sitting a lot more straight up than the original seat. I love that the back rest sits against my lower back for support. I need to relearn doing the tight U-turns with this seat. I am pleased with the new seat. The cost is high, but its worth the money.

Finally got to go on a long ride. Spent 8 hours in the saddle, very comfortable. Should have bought the seat 17,000 miles ago. My back and butt sure appreciate the ride. Looking forward to my next ride.
So much better than stock

Have a 2003 Honda Sabre VT1100c2. The install was quick and easy. So much more comfortable than my stock seat.

I bought a vintage mustang seat with backrest for my kawasaki vaquero 2011. I drove 500 miles with it. I am sitting almost one inch in a half closer to the handel bar than the original seat. It took me 100 miles too feel ok. I am pleased with the new seat, I don't feel pain anymore in my lower back and don't feel stress in my shoulder anymore. I am sitting a lot more strait then the original seat, so i am looking higher over the windshield. The price his very high, but its worth the cash to put it on.

Aapplication: 2008 Kawasaki 900 classic LT. Love the back rest. Sits higher than the stock seat so it changes the center of gravity. Learning to ride my bike all over again due to that. Also kind of sharp on the edges where your legs go over the side to touch the ground. Comfortable otherwise and makes longer trips possible with no more back pain, worth the money.

Feels good. Almost feels like the bike now has a hand on my butt holding me through the curves. Only had the wife on for about 25 minute ride but she said her ass wasn't numb, typically on the stock 2001 Shadow Sabre seat she could go for about 35-45 minutes before needing to get off and stretch, so I'd say it's a good thing for her. Only got 300 miles on so far, will respond when I got 3000

I purchased a set for my VStar 1100 Classic and rode day and night until I was hit on the interstate and totaled my bike. I replaced that bike with a VStar 1300 Tourer. After riding without a Mustang seat, my back hurt again and my time on the bike was no longer fun. I recently said "damn the torpedos" and replaced the seat with a new Mustang with backrest and will never ride again without one.

I bought my bike with this seat already on it, and to tell you the truth, 1 of the main reasons I bought it. It's on a 2007 Honda Shadow Aero, with windshield, passenger backrest, rack on the back, and floorboards, had 8000 miles on it. I have been on narcotic painkillers just to get out of bed in the morning as my lower back is shot and causes constant pain. I live in Iowa so the weather has been in the 30-50's, I bought it 16 days ago and have put 1400 miles on it, that’s with avoiding rain days, having my 5 kids 50% of the time and can't ride when their home as they are too young to leave alone, and work. I'll be 100% honest with you, I have rode 600 miles in 1 weekend and my back still felt great, (so did my behind)! It's wide, thick and as I said, I'd rather sit on that than my recliner.
